I don't think Superman has ever done it in the comics, so, I doubt it's possible for him to do. Plus, you're talking about a fiction story and not a real life story. In real life that would be very effective, but as in a fiction story that would be poor and lazy writing. It's boring and I doubt anyone would actually like to see that.

Dark Marvel comics: Daredevil, Punisher, Moon Knight, Ghost Rider. Light DC comics: Gotham Academy, Harley Quinn and many-many-many crossovers of serious heroes with silly ones (Plastic Man, Boster Gold, etc). And that's just what I remembered without searching Google to refresh my memory. Seriously guys, read comics before saying something.

1.Injustice a game. 2.It's Non-canon/not the main universe. 3.Most people buy fighters for the fighting,not the story.
