The security system is ridiculous. How they’ve not fixed that but fixed other things that don’t need fixing right now is absurd. They don’t need the facial recognition entry before an updated security system. It can take 1 1/2 hours from the time you enter the parking garage and wait to pay. Then wait for security. Then wait for the tram. Then wait to walk into Disneyland. I remember the days when we were in the park in 15 mins from the time you park and walk inside the park.

the answer would be both....they are experiencing lower crowds,and because they are not getting slammed, its unnecessary to buy lightning lanes...which make the rides far more efficient. fresh baked dave was noticing the same thing from a monday crowd...short wait times, hardly any lightning lanes,... incredicoaster marked 30 min wait,took him 12 mins...was going thru 4 min switchbacks in the line in 30 secs-to a min. very efficient.

Disneyland STILL not employing bagless security lines is idiotic. Florida has them so it’s an intentional choice at this point.

@@ThemeParkObsessionDD They could still have the required security people with the metal detectors like the other lanes, but just a few lanes dedicated to people without bags or strollers. Makes no sense that a bunch of us could go through security with nothing but our phones where we could be through in 7 seconds but we’re forced to wait behind people with bag upon bag needing searching.

I agree with you. Disney should do away with blackout dates for those holding the most expensive keys! There are many of us who live far away and our park visits are often by proxy (youtube). If you don't go to the parks we can't go to the parks!! Tagging along with you is so much FUN! Glad you let our whole family join in on the fun. (Via our 80inch backyard TV)
