9/13/2014 I took a trip out to North Conway for Conway Scenic's annual Railfan's Weekend event. It was a great time with a nice variety of consists and power from diesel to steam and passenger to freight.

boy howdy all those classic engines and horns. Man I will have to remember to be around up there next year. That sounds like a lot of fun for railfans.

Neat! I like how in your videos when you have a crossing you ALWAYS have the lights in sight!

Awesome video! CSR has really come a long way in the last 40 years! Remember their 1st year well and hope to go back to ride there next Summer.

I remember when 1751 arrived on the Finger Lakes Railway in New York it was still painted and lettered for Buffalo & Pittsburgh #206 with in 2 years it was painted. I got a number of videos with her working in NY on the FGLK over the years.

Very nice video!! I've always enjoyed Conway scenic railroad. Especially that old Boston and Maine locomotive. Big fan of the Boston and maine. I love how in your videos you show the whole train and let it pass and the crossing. I subscribed. :) keep on railfaning!

Great video! So unusual to see the steam engine running in reverse at 12:12 and 23:32. Nice to see them running the diesel-electric locomotives with the long hood forward like they were built for. Beautiful area. Sort of like West Virginia. I will definitely have to visit.

Love that 8 inch crossing at 3:56, especially with the GRS Lex-C lights on both signals! Is that a mini bell I hear at 18:18?

not to be weird or anything at 3:10 i was at the rest stop to take a video I think you were a crossed the road from me.

Did anyone notice the signals go off at 2:07 ?
@dcarpine289 жыл бұрын
It may look like it, but camcorders actually fade out LED lights in daylight for some reason. It has happened in other videos others and I have taken.
@JAILRail9 жыл бұрын
Doesn't it also fade out sound too?
@dcarpine289 жыл бұрын
No, I think the train was over powering the sound of the bells. It just does it with LED's.

Why is #1751 in NYC paint instead of CSRR?
@Mountaindivisionrailfan2523 жыл бұрын
Didn’t get painted when it came, although it will be soon,

@@coasternamegenerator5611an M3RT1 from 6516 while the P5 was getting fixed

@@TrainfanProduction I think the m3rt1 was 573’s originally
@TrainfanProduction25 күн бұрын
@@coasternamegenerator5611 Then why does it sound nothing like the one thats one 1751?
@coasternamegenerator561125 күн бұрын
@@TrainfanProduction cuz the horn was backwards on 573. It had the 1 bell facing forward. With 1751, bells 2&4 are facing forward. If you hear 1751 long hood forward, it’ll sound just the same
