I'm just curious about how much fuel did it take for the round trip and possibly how many miles were traveled, looks like a lot of fun though but maybe 40 to 60 mph is more my speed.

It's possible in almost anything if you know the run already.

It's been my experience to do it mid day or later when water levels are highest. In the AM it's let out down south of us and then all of the reservoirs play catch up. They usually have it timed pretty well, not low for too long.

@@tbear68- After years of watching the water release schedule PDF there isn't a way to reliably predict when the water will be up or down. There are many days when the middle of the day is the lowest level. You just have to check the PDF the day before and then again the morning of whatever you are planning. There is no set schedule, it changes all the time.

@mjodr Understood. It can be touch & go, but everyone on the river knows, bow out and anchored out. If not, 9 times out of 10 you're high n dry... The third boat will be a jet, just to do these runs with no worries. 😎 🌴 🌞

@@mjodr we had a couple stops but about an hour and a half? Would be about an hour no stops. Bare in mind though we are running 90-115 most the way with occasional 120+

@@RiverDavesPlace Yeah that's why I asked, because that boat is fast. We can only do 50 and we've only done 1/2 or 3/4 of the full run. Just trying to compare.

If you have to wear headphones to talk, what's the point. Go fast then what. There great boats but really worthless for chilling and having fun. That's what the lake is for. BBQ and family.

I only know one guy with a DCB. He has two other boats in the garage to do exactly what your talking about. Not a fan of the flex but it's his money.

You don't need the headphones to talk. I have the same boat and I do an average of 120 all the time. It's easier to hear your passenger in the back seats but other than that you don't need headphones on these boats with the outboards.
