Hey Jarryd, 15v or 18v for a 4.2x1.8 n scale layout with 2 mainlines and 1 branch line?

Hi Phil, 15V is as high as I'd go, should come out at around 13.5V on the track which is perfect for N scale. The size of the layout doesn't really change the voltage that should be used, not for DCC layouts at least. The larger the layout, the more boosters and seperate power districts you have, which can all supply approx. 13.5V to each section of the layout.

Is it true that Digikeijs has gone into backruptcy?

Hi John, yes it is unfortunately true. Digikeijs products are no longer available, any left on shelves of stores is old stock, and all of the good stuff has long since sold out unfortunately! YaMoRc are who I'd recommend having a look at, Digikeijs were producing their products under license, the designer of whom has now started YaMoRc and is manufacturing very similar products of his own design under his own brand name. Hope this helps!

can you use a 5A power source? is the 3A limitation of the unit?

Hi Krish, you definitely could use a 5A power source, however yes you are correct, 3A is the limitation of the inbuilt booster within the unit. The power source provided with the DR5000 is more than adequate to run it. If you're looking for more power you'd be best to look at the Digikeijs 3A boosters which are quite affordable like the DR5000.

Is that an N scale DERM?

Probably! I’ve done a fair few, either castings or 3D prints that are painted and decalled by some of my customers. They run on Tomytec mechs

Did you get from Digikiejs nederlands? Did it come with au power supply?
