Meredith was a very gentle soul and a great technical dancer. However, Kelli passed up a lot of rookies that did dance better. Even up until the end, Meredith struggled before the announced the team roster. I am glad Meredith was able to have the year of experience on the team, but it was hers to lose this season. Even in a commentary, she mentions that training camp is used for “catch up” and that’s not necessarily the case. After being on the team a full year, she should have been better prepared to defend her spot and show improvement. (Just my thoughts) I do think Kelli and Judy showed a lot of favoritism to Meredith her rookie year.

I got the feeling that Meredith didn't practice and thought she'd stay on the team because she was a vet. I don't care how good you are, you still have to practice because there are girls who may not be as good but will practice until they're blue to surpass the talent.

I agree they showed favoritism and I think it hurt her more emotionally in the end. She's absolutely stunning and I think that played a big part in it. And I don't blame them... they do make a lot of money in terms of their looks and people spending money on events, merchandise, etc that has them on them. They need to be as visually appealing as possible. But the rookies this year made it impossible for her to stay. She would be an amazing Rockette. I hope she's not done dancing.

There was something going around that she had connections with important people involved with the cowbows, like she was somebody's niece or something, and that's why she made the team. I do feel like she was shown a lot of favoritism because she didn't get it down until the very last week of training camp her first year and she still made it. They cut a lot of more talented dancers for a lot less and babied her the whole time. But you can tell this year it was way too obvious and the judges had higher expectations of her and she's barely meeting the normal level of expectations. She shouldn't have made it in the first place.

I don't think Victoria's cut was about her dancing and performing. It was more about her weight, irresponsibility and uncooperative attitude. Her Mother probably woke her up w/ a good lecture. The next season she seemed like she really matured mentally.

Victoria was 18 and in still in high school when she tried out. She was still a baby. She needed to grow. You could tell throughout the season that Kelli didn't think that Victoria was gonna be this problematic. She didn't think she would be constantly talking to her or she would have to be calling her into the office frequently. Victoria needed to grow up.

Victoria's cut was really really hard. Kelli loves her so much. I personally think it hurt Kelli more than it hurt Victoria. I think Kelli didn't want it to affect their relationship. Kelli and Victoria have a relationship outside of this show and outside of DCC. These two are family. Victoria and Kelli's daughter are friends. Tina and Kelli are best friends. Victoria came back so strong the next year. She even made show group. I see Victoria being a group leader and maybe point some day. I hope Dayton comes back at some point. She is so gorgeous and her body is amazing. She is thick. If Dayton comes back she will be a showstopper. I like Meredith but I just think she doesn't have the DCC style. Meredith has never been trained in cheer. Meredith is more lyrical, contemporary, ballet. The girls who are on the team have done some form of cheer or pom before coming to DCC. Some of done it in high school and college. Some have even been captain of their teams. Meredith has no experience with cheer or pom hence the reason why it is so foreign to her. Its like she's learning a new language. I like Meredith but I don't think DCC is for her

She got away with weight gain with Kitty Carter saying they should respect her and give her time to tone up while she would say to cut others for the same reason. She got away with ignoring help from Jinelle. I like her but we should not act like she didnt get favoured, just like Cassie tbh. It is not really a big deal since this happens in every branche

Cassie was serious favoritism. She got way too many privileges just for being Judy's daughter. She did not deserve show group nor did she deserve group leader. I'm surprised they never gave her point. Cassie was way overhyped and overrated.

If I remember rightly when Cassie was injured and it was start of a new season the judges asked Kelly if it was another vet coming during finals would they (Kelly and Charlotte) let that vet in, Kelly replied NO, so for me Cassie got favors just because she (Cassie) IS Judy's daughter.

Don't know what I'm doing here, but I have to say, as a guy with a BIG, empathetic heart of gold as I've been told by many, it's heart wrenching to see any woman or girl cry. When my girl cries, I cry, and I'm afraid of feeling helpless in a particular situation where there's not a whole lot in my power that I can do for her but just be there, listen, give her a hug, and support her. That's why the moments where each of the girls were surrounded by their teammates to offer their sympathies as they were packing up and leaving were the hardest to watch😣😭

it's excruciating for these girls. Their dream is to be a DCC.. They hold onto it tight. When they're told 'This is your last night' the reality sets in. They need to hear Kelli and Judy say those words or they can't accept it. So hard watching their dreams get crushed. nepotism runs the DCC, there’s so many girls who had little things slide or made the team because their mothers were cheerleaders for the organization and were super close to kelli and judy, cassie’s case was so extreme and ridiculous but they’ll always deny it lol

Some of these cuts were heartbreaking and, begging for a second chance, some were incredibly awkward. That said, and not meaning to be rude, I was sure Milena was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. The anxiety, stress, and pressure on these women must bring them to a breaking point.

Cutting was the best thing for Dayton as she is far above the rest in class and she really didn’t want this anyway! Her mom pushed her. She was to good for them. She is much happier now!
