Had Nathan Eby (center snare) and Lahren Whint (?. Im sure i didnt spell his name right) as drum instructors my sophomore year of HS in 1998. I remember i told them i wanted to do BD someday. They made me a VHS tape of HOURS of parking lot footage.....like....the REAL DEAL! It was probably over 4hrs long. From 1995-1998. Parking lots. Finals. Rehearsals. Dude....it was amazing. Id get home from school and watch it and drum along to it practically everyday. My brother took it though and i never got it back......so mad about that

@@DrumlineArchives it was cool cause some of the footage on the tape was part of those "Inside The Blue Devils" yearly documentaries they'd make.....only where it would end on the documentary with the parking lot footage, my tape had the WHOLE lot video of those years. Was pretty dope

watching 'em on the field at that point with all the weaving & sticks above head moeller sweeps was intense. Like watching the Blue Angels maneuver around each other.

Mid to late 90's BD lines are my favorite BD lines of all time. So much phrasing and dynamic contrast! I miss when they used to play with this much musical intensity
