This is the thing about BD. They often score in higher ranges (and not just for trumpets) and they use some difficult key sigs.

System Blue horns have some pretty good tuning on certain notes sometimes. Helps that the tubas have a fourth valve so they can do 2-4 instead of 1-2-3
