I love this song and I wish that every baptized believer could hear this song and the fire that it is ministered with. I am not proud or haughty, but I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my strength and my all. I will never hesitate to tell others what I am or who lives inside me. We should all be like John the baptist and prepare the way for the Lord. We cannot be hypocritacal and take His name in vain. We have to take His name to others. I love this song. We SHOULD be excited as people who have experienced the Holy Spirit in this way. It is definitely a privilege. We have allowed our Faith to be open to any way the Holy Spirit wants to move. We have not limited God. Other believers call us idiots, and uneducated in the Word. let our hang down is a figure of speech in this song, rolling on the floor is where the world got their term of calling pentecostals "holy rollers" from, it does happen on occausion but not often.The people that run this song down miss the whole point of it because they just want to be critical. i think you could look at it one of two ways. A) it may be as you said... they're boasting and being prideful for their Pentecostal faith, or B) they're just passionate and expressing their desire to be fervent in their praise of God. many denominations frown on the way Pentecostals worship and praise. this could be an answer to that. i guess it depends on how tolerant you want to be.
