I guess in the campus placement, the highest number went uptill 10-11 that's for one or two but mostly students who prepare well for interview and coding round end up in the 5-8 LPA strata . PS - this stats is for CSE department!

Thanks a lot Bhai, we'll make more of such content. Answering your first question Yes branch can be upgraded in the first year to CSE as if you top your branch or class , you can get slided to CSE or ECE. In our class itself, there's a guy who enrolled in BME in first year but he topped his class in first year and slided to CSE in second year, so it is damn possible it's just that you have to put in a lot of your efforts 2. The hostel management is normal average, the food is average , WiFi facility is also provided, wi-fi works fine depending upon the range The flaw that I felt in this. College is that there's less encouragement for extra curricular activities to balance it with academics ,less entrepreneurship culture, so the departments over here aren't very supportive when it comes to things beyond studies like startup culture, other options. Seniors are quite supportive and that is a thing common in mostly all colleges because we can't share or discuss everything with our teachers or faculties but with seniors, there's a friendly yet professional bond. See there are different parameters upon which you can judge these two institutes you mentioned. If you want better ROI DCRUST would be a far better option considering tuition fees and hostel fees whereas as far as placements are considered, IPU would have an edge . I hope it helps
