The overhead landing is comparable to a traffic circuit, but it's done at much greater speeds, and with the help of a Head-Up Display. Support the channel and receive PDF video scripts and detailed custom checklists: / supanovr

This video is the easiest explanation of the overhead approach for me. Thank you.

I've been watching a lot of overhead break videos and I really enjoyed this one. The music in particular, and extreme wide angle view made it really relaxing to watch.

Bro you just committed a nozzle strike as you touch down because the angle of attack used to touchdown is more than 13 degree and the maximum aoa for touchdown is 11 to 13

Thirteen degrees is the optimal angle for aero braking.

@@supanova88 as well as for touchdown, you need to read the actual manual of the f16 on Google.

I have read more manuals for the F-16 than most. I'm well aware of the desired angles, but a clunky Thrustmaster stick is not an ideal instrument. I also find the judgment on landing as tiresome. Every F-16 landing devolves into a mindless grading exercise. If I did this full time I might be able to perfect landings.

Tailstrike on the F16 is at 15°. He never even came close to 15°.
