When i open up my TGP it is not slaved to the steer points, any idea how to get that to work ?

make it a Soi ( Sensor of interest ) with DMS (display management switch ) down then your tgp not slaved to your steer point press dms down short if you for exemple tried to search for targets and you want to get back to the steer point, or make sure the steer point ( target point ) coordinates are right

Can you not just add steerpoints from the data cartridge? MFDs, IFF switching, laser codes, and steerpoints are ideally done before you even get in the plane.

In Some servers you have to set up these things by your self in my opinion that's what makes dcs a very good simulator not just hop in the plane fly and get back to base its so satisfying to set up some stuff, thank you for your comment and hope you liked my tutorial and my other videos
