Ya its going to be an amazing module when its finished... Super excited to see how the HTS will integrate data into the HSD, and whether that data will be able to be shared with other airframes via datalink.. Could be the beginning of some basic ISR functionality in DCS

Creating points-of-interest via the HSD, slaving radars or TGPs via the HSD, super convenient if thats what its for, but I havent looked too into it. You can see the curser on the right MFD, two white lines, similar to the curser you find on the A-A radar.

@@MattWagner Rewatching the video, it seems counter intuitive that enabling hud/cockpit blanking in the Viper actually does not blank the HMCS. Am I correct that it is the opposite behavior of the Hornet, where enabling blanking turns on blanking?

To make it simple. Alignment should be done on the ground for better results. Not aligning could cause a target to be shown slightly off from its actual position on HMCS, when locked.

Is there an auto aligned for the HMCS on a cold start? I liked cold starts but not a fan of bore sighting helmets.

Are any of these JHMCS "hud blanking" or "cockpit blanking" options available in the A-10C2 or F/A-18C modules. I don't remember seeing these options for them, but it would be cool. Not sure if the actual jets have that capability though...

I don't own the A-10. But I'm pretty sure there's settings in the F/A-18. Under the SUPT page, left side, click HMD button. On the HMD page, right side is a toggle push button called BLNK. That will do HUD blanking. And I assume it does cockpit blanking as well.

I would love to be able to change laser codes via the kneeboard. I know you can use the ME to change it but on online servers you end up with multiple F16s dropping bombs stuck on code 1688 which is no good! Please switch that function on. Otherwise loving how F16 is progressing, thank you.

I've started with the A10C II, went to the F18 and now ended up at the F16 and I'm sure the DED is the most complicated and unintuitive thing about all of those airplanes. I hate it in every possible way.
