Matt Wagner Why do you cut the maximum range of the AIM-120 and AIM-7 in half relative to their stated max ranges? Anyone with an aerospace degree could estimate the range to be far greater than 20 miles using a rough approximation of the propellant volume and specific impulse, as well as an approximate coefficient of drag. Having such short ranges totally changes the nature of BVR combat!

Can anyone help me ? is there something that can be done as I am not able to watch a replay of any missions that I do or even when complete a mission or successfully land on a AIRCRAFT CARRIER??? is there some way to fix that? It used to allow me to watch playback or watch track as it's called. I know that the training section doesn't allow you to replay it but for some strange reason my rig doesn't allow me to watch any play back as of about a week ago .I 've updated DCS and used the repair DCS world nothing has worked so far . I have a Dell 9010 Mini Tower i7 3770 3.4 ghz 16 gb 240 ssd 1 t hdd win 10 2 gb video card Amd rX 460. Help . I guess I should contact DCS world perhaps they can look into this issue.

Question on scan cone. The altitudes of the search reported are only valid at the FULL range being selected, correct? In other words if I'm scanning out to 60 miles with reported altitude search from Angels 6 to 0.....I can only really detect from 6 to 0 at the full 60 mile distance? If I were at angels 10 and a bogey was at angels 2, 7 miles off my nose and hot......I would not be able to see him on radar, correct? He would essentially be under the cone of my scan (assuming level flight of course).

I'm having issues, when I'm scanning in RWS 4B 140 angle, and then I place the TDC above the target and lock it, it will only hold the lock for like 3 seconds, not even. It seems like I'm not getting STT.

Long range radar locks work as they should. Be mindful of your bar and azimuth settings, LTWS, and what the target is doing in regards to aspect.

Will it be possible to add later the AGM-158B JASSM (ER) at least? Or other compatible conventional non nuclear weapons for the hornet, like the European weapons, AIM-132 or Taurus missile, etc? Hey all, I've been watching videos, reading the manual, and testing out in game but im still stumped on how to switch from AIM-9's to 7's. In Wagz tutorial video :42, seems like he clicks something on his joystick, turns out it's a default function on the Warthog Thrustmer Joystick. I have the Thrustmaster T-16000M and searched relentlessly to find the key binding command. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

For the AIM 7 you have to keep the lock. For the AIM 120 or AIM 9 you don't have to.

There is no Hornet at all, this module doesn't exist, it's one of the greatest abuse campaigns ever commited! All you see is scripted and prerendered, but Matt pretends that he is controlling the aircraft! Russian developers are in Thailand now, they are already spending money they have gathered during presale purchase campaign! Now you will see infinite delays as they want to monetize presale campaign as long as they can, until everybody understans it's a fake! Nowdays it's absolutelly nonprofitable buziness to make such simulators as potential auditory is too small... Sorry, guys... Be more cautious next time
