DCS F/A-18C Rudder Pedal Maintenance Program

The DCS SUPERCARRIER USS Abraham Lincoln has stopped in New Zealand on it's way to the Middle East.
How did Jar get permission for the nuclear powered CVN72 to dock in the Port of Auckland?
Jar has also removed the Saitek Pro Combat Rudder Pedals from his DCS F/A-18C Hornet due to 'grinding noises'. Can he repair them in the ready room?
Is he qualified to fix airplane things?

I got the exact same pedals. I had to take mine apart a couple years ago because my left toe brake was not working. One of those wires came off the little control board and was an easy solder job. Solid pedals, the only other issue I had was the friction adjuster knob came off. Great descriptive video for the cleaning, probably gotta do mine soon as well. Also I could've sworn you had a cockpit/sim setup video, but maybe I was mistaken. I feel like that needs a video tour!

Thanks for the Saitek heads up. I have the same pedals, but not as old and they still sound reasonably ok, but at least I have the confidence to clean them up now (as I mainly fly the Hornet, I don't use the rudder that much). Did you use a propriety brand of grease, if so, what was it? Would love to have a look at that set up of yours.
