Cool! I'm from Brazil and this video showed up to me. It is very interesting to hear the base names said in the right accent, it is very musical! There's a tonality, a musicality to it. And I was saying Bodo as "Bow-doo" and you said the right is "Boo- dA". Cool!

So far I’m liking it! Reminds me of the South Atlantic map when it fist came out in Early Access. Kinda the same thing. It’s going to get better with time! If you want a perfect map then wait otherwise enjoy what we have and watch it grow!! That’s what Early Access is all about!!

Oh, well... Up until quite recently, Bodø was the main airbase, so no wonder why the prioritized that. Lakselv/Bannak is a different story, but Bodø is way more important than Bardufoss, at least until allied forces arrive. Andøya, I do agree totally.. That supposed to be included at a later stage. This map will be spectacular one day if the complete it. Lofoten with an F-16 is nice. (Check out the real world video from an F-16 over Lofoten some years ago.)

I do agree, not worth your dime! I am ... eh .. kinda homesick for this map, sold my kid's bicycle so I had to get it. I would say, area-wise I want only to pay about 25% of the stipulated price, cuz that is what feels complete. No, I did not get any freeware I bought this for myself. And now need to find a new, cheeper, bike LOL

Though it needs some work I like it so far. Apparently they used those trees to help improve performance since less of them are needed compared to the others. It's possible that'll change in the future

I’m not buying any more DCS maps. Winter textures should have been the default I have no idea what they were thinking. The bases are sparse and unfinished. Unfortunately DCS has become the ultimate for early access gaslighting.

Heya.. good video Apollo :) love the ending.. now that you know things, hahaha so what the radar on top of the Mountain at Soriessa weather radar or some kind of long range missile / OTH one,. I spotted it while making a video about Kola for folks . And access to that mountain is a pain in the butt. Anyway great video I am hopeful for the map its nice to see something green as USSR born comrade its good to see green, but needs more snow. Cheers man!

Great video, and agree. I like the distances myself, I can't stand the 10 minute and done type of flying. I was just checking my Tacview files and the shortest flight I have done lately was 1 hour 25 minutes so Kola is well suited. lt i alt. god video... sgu! 😎

Interesting pictures of places you've chosen there. Say, didn't you go flying up there above the arctic circle once? I'm sure there are some interesting tales from that flight. Mayve it could be recreated in DCS? Food for thought.

Bas 100 should be "Vuojärvi highway base". And the aircraft hangars in Rovaniemi are way too small; barely one Hornet can fit in. And the slope from apron 1 at Rovaniemi to G is way too steep. And why is the gate to the Highway part of Rovaniemi base closed and with a Norwegian military sign "Forsvaret"..? Damn. 🇫🇮

A bit odd to put Kirkenes as an military airbase, Yes there is an Military base on near the airport GSV, It used to be two bases their but one is now a imigrantesenter.I walk out of the gate on GSV for the last time in 2012. And no emphasis on Vardø in the campaine thas comming, no real war in that region whit out russia trying to take out the rader station there, on exerices the units that gaurded the rader station was konsider dead in 1 to 3 days. And Russia have had exercices where they have approached Vardø whit a large bomber groups for simulated attack on Vardø. And that Barduoss is not included was a big letdown. My old air base :-) And GPS jamming is a big problem in the region.

grejen med terrängen är att de delar som är detaljerade, är väldigt bra tycker jag, speciellt städerna. Det är dock väldigt lite av kartan som är detaljerat hittills, men jag har hopp (hoppas att de byter ut träden... du kan se att de använder korrekt trädtyp vid Rovaniemi flygplats... undrar varför de inte använde dessa för hela kartan, kanske är spelmotorns fel?
