Please note that I am posting this video ahead in schedule vs other videos to get feedback on microphone quality. I will start posting the older videos in the queue to get them out of the way and then we will be all caught up with using the new mic probably in July.

Your voice sounds good but I still got a lot of pops/crackles/screeches but that maybe is just SRS or something idk. Like around 6:50 - 7:10 was brutal i had my speakers turned up when it screeched there oof

The GCI did a great job of pushing out fighters between us and the enemy so we were left to our own devices for the most part.

On the right side of your sight, lower the brightness of the fixed sight to help create contrast between the fixed and moving sights. Turn on your dang fan.

Veeery nice!! Can you please share your new settings and pc specs? Nvidia settings and dcs settings please, I got annoying lag from time to time and I use a 3080 with 32gb ram, i510600k.

It makes sense that taking the R60s would result in fewer kills per hour. Still id say a major net gain in the ground war after talking out 2 a10s. Think of all the kills you stopped the a 10s fron getting vs the extra kills the Hinds would've achieved.

You would think - but my most recent session was flying in the Su-25 against a >4:1 blue stack, with only a pair of F-5s, a pair of Hueys, and then about an even split of A-10s and Viggens. The kill feed was incredibly slow, 4-6 Mav kills here and there, and blue were set to lose a sector until their bombers got just enough hits on our industrial to offset our efforts. Again, this is a >4:1 stack! I have no idea what they were doing, but it apparently wasn't killing red's frontline. Their attrition score was through the roof as well somehow, despite the lack of red CAP - and then once I'd hit some positions and spent my rockets, I started hunting and found many of the A-10s were just kind of... milling around. Eventually they mounted repeated suicidal, ineffective attacks on the frontline airbase I relocated to, driving their attrition even further through the roof while wasting probably half their ground pounding assets in a misguided effort to annoy a single Su-25. Sometimes this server makes my brain hurt.

Any possibility of the hind being able to do troop insertions on one of the map rotations? I am just picking up the bird on sale, but was disappointed to hear it can't drop troops on the cold war server. I get that the Mi-24 will be "OP" compared to blue options, but that's just the nature of reality too during the earlier cold war period. I think a little asymmetry can be a positive thing and make games more exciting rather than making it too "gamified" and focusing only on a sense of balance, the balance of power of WARSAW and NATO was also quite asymmetrical in real life. Perhaps there are other ways of balancing the ground game? Or maybe when the F-4 drops later this year, I think that is going to heavily shift power in favor of blue until the Mig-23 is released. The F-4 is not only extremely capable in air to air, but a very good ground attack platform as well.

I agree. More people play Blue team anyways so a benefit to Red would be welcome

The Hind is really strong right now on the server, there is no blue counter part. Additionally there are weight considerations that aren't modeled in the server now with troops. Most Hinds did not really take weapons and transport troops. So we limit it. If we add weight we may add the capability for it to carry troops later.

@@Enigma89 cutting a whole chopper (from attack/transport to just attack) in half isn't balance. it's lazy. I spent 60$ on the hind I want to use the whole hind, hope you get what I mean.

I am VERY bad at flying helicopters. Landing a helicopter is a big accomplishment for me because I rarely fly them. Thanks for the tips.

Funny thing about the fan is I always turn it on so i can see thru the blades. Also your pilot has a 2% steadyness buff and it reduces PIO alot.

Super entertaining video. i bought the hind 2 days ago. rly hard to learn, but i get used to it in a small training mission i built. near in the future i try it on the server :)
