For more casual player or newbies, just bring up the kneeboard and bind SHOW CARET to keyboard (ctrl + down default). Makes navigation easier and the missions more forgiving, since you'll see your position and heading on the maps.

I've been watching a few of these, very informative (more so than most tutorials), thanks! :D I'm now also flying these missions, but the radial business still confuses me. The mission states: WP4 = 74km 245 from NALCHIK (copy paste), so... the 245 is not heading but radial? Is that how you know what to punch into the npp at the waypoint?

With some reverse engineering I managed! My head hurts, but i've practiced some with lining up with the radial of runways after flying about freely. It works :).

@@bloyamind Jolly good. The briefing is kind of inadequate, it doesn't tell you the heading you need to fly from WP3 to WP4 (heading 293 I think) until you cross the 245 radial from Nalchik.
