Hi all, I'm not sure what's happened here but these Hellfire sounds are not correct - it's probably an issue with this particular build. They should sound basically the same as the Apache's.

Call sign "Longknife" "Sheamus" "Banshee". The Kiowa helped us out of many jams in Kandahar. Great video.

Thanks Scott Manley. Kerbal time again. You can consider Kilo Hellfires from now on as Kerbals. Launch those 4 Kerbals down range. “Kerbals on Foreheads” Can’t wait until I finish setting up the controls on my Kiowa when it comes out.

Great tutorial, you make really good tutorials. I am on the fence about getting this module. This is only for Enigma and Contention servers. I only care for PVP. For choppers, I know how to fly Gazelle, KA50 and Hind. My issue with the Kiowa is that there is only Pilot AI. I want to play as a pilot, I don't want to switch seats and map, remember and use 11 buttons for Pilot AI to launch hellfires. I love how the AI works in the Hind, 5 buttons and Petroviich finds targets , let's me -the pilot choose what to lock and fire upon, leaving me ,the pilot to do 1 job, which is to fly. KA50 is meant to be flown by 1 pilot, so that's that. I think that Polychop needs to implement Petroviich or George like AI. I have not flown or researched Heatblur's modules, so I can't comment on their AI.

I think you would get on fine in the Kiowa, it’s actually not a lot of buttons to remember to be able to employ all the weapons it’s a very straight forward aircraft.

Hellfire sounds like the Gazelle's HOT3. Is this a different build than Casmo has? I saw his Twitch livestream and the Hellfire launches sound very different.

When you don’t have a human with you as multicrew you can use both the pilot and copilot controls

Yes it does, it can buddy lase for the Apache and other aircraft

Yes, as long as your hellfire sees the other persons laser it will fire

3:07... so if I understand correctly.... the copilot aims... the pilot fires ? And since there's no AI copilot. I really gotta find me a permanent designated pilot for this. I wanna be in the left seat.

But there is an AI control set for the pilot. You can control it from either seat. So no need for a second person. See the polychop AMA on their channel.

@@104thMaverick so you're saying the pilot/right seat can slew, aim, lase the mms ? Cuz the text at the bottom says keybinds for the copilot. I might have misunderstood.

Correct sir, when you are flying the aircraft on your own you can operate the pilot and co-pilot controls.
