@@SukhoiGC ah that's great! On the topic of bvr I would like to ask, do you think the flanker series is actually much of a threat to an f-16 or similar jet in bvr? Because I've always seen the bvr explanations try their best to just live long enough to switch to wvr. Also if you don't mind me asking, how many parts do you plan this series to be? the first 2 parts have been great so far!

@@auqanova For your first question, well it depends. If we are going based on the two in game then, yes it is very much so a threat. Even with the r27ers poor tracking and the R77s short legs, they can definitely be useful when incorporated properly! I have seen explanations like that as well, which is kind of why I am making these videos! I want people to understand that the flanker is very competitive. And honestly, I dont know how many parts haha. I am just going with the flow on this. I have lots of experience with the flanker and am kind of just giving away all my nifty tricks.

@@SukhoiGC alright thanks! One more question, when do you use afterburner? Is it just on the whole fight, or do you only burn to a certain speed, or only on maneuvers? I keep running out of fuel in my flanker lives so I know I'm using ab too much, but don't know the right amount.

@@auqanova That's a tough one, I use it based on instinct. In bvr I'll have burner on to give my missile maximum kinematic potential, but I'll slow down if I'm nearing the merge. I'll also use burner when doing hard tight turns to power through them and I'll also use it in vertical maneuvers to power through those as well.

first you need to turn on electrics with shift+L and then click ctrl+home and ctrl+end to turn on both engines (i think it is with all fc3 planes)

FC3 birds are great for a bit of arcade gameplay.
