Love this helicopter so much fun to fly. Also just wondering, how did you record you vr view in this resolution? My dcs only displays one eye

It is a replay of the trk file. DCS trk files also record VR head movement. I was lucky this trk played back correctly and was not corrupted.

@@rewmeister Mostly I fly in MP. I do a lot in the DCS airshow scene as I am part of RAZBAM Harrier Display Team. I struggle with combat though as it is hard to get a team in combat, and often DCS messes about and things stop working, else I'd make more videos.

This was set on the SYria map. If you want loads of trees in Caucuses, try east of Guadata, or South East of Batumi. IIRC the time of day was about 6am

@@fireblaze7994 Thanks for answering. After I posted the comment I was already noticing that it was not the caucasus map. A few days ago I didn't know whether to buy Syria or Persian Gulf. I got the Persian map, but it's also a nice map.

@@leonardoetc3565 I have since uninstalled PG to make room to reinstall Normandy with the Mossy. Syria I will keep installed. I have also uninstalled Nevada. Syria is so much better than those maps, especially now they stopped spamming billboards advertising the Normandy map.

Nice. Did the 2.7 provide any fixes or bigger changes to Ka-50?

I didn't read the change log so not sure. The sound of the cannon, is different, maybe an update as it has same cannon as the upcoming Mi24P. Also sound of VHKRs leaving the tubes has changed. Still cannot lock at distance in bad weather, although contrast and brightness on the SHVAL seemed to work nicer.

@@fireblaze7994 The Ka-50 and the Mi-24P dont have the same cannon. Ka-50 has 2A42 cannon, the same the BMP-2 has, and Mi-24P has Gsh-30K, the same the Su-25 has but a bit shorter

a small question i got the ka-50 recently and i have some problems when im pitching foward with trim. sometimes it stays at the angle i set the trimmer sometimes dont. well most of the time it just dont. nice video bud keep it up

I have not got all my settings tweaked yet, but what I have so far is Standard DCS VR settings, but grass upped to MAX, shadows off and clouds on ultra. PD is 1 as I have a HP Reverb, and I don't think it is needed.

@@fireblaze7994 Try with shadows on low and not flat only, because cockpits looks horrible without shadows
