DCS World CH47 Cargo Hook Operations VR

Finally worked through how to use the CH47 Cargo hook in combo with the Engineer. Hopefully this helps people get started with it a little quicker than I did. Took some toying around with the button assignments.

Great vid, what will help you to move from station to station is 'Bob', search for Bob in the keybinds and add to your stick. Bob will maintain steady control of the aircraft whilst you move from position to position, I've posted a video about it recently as I think it's a life-saver with the current Flight model, have a go and see what you think.

Oh hell yeah!!! I knew nothing about this. Thank you so much for bringing it up. I thought people were calling the Engineer Bob and I just missed it somewhere. I will go assign him for sure. I will also check out your vide.

Very helpful vid, thanks! Have you noticed a reduction in FPS on the CH47 in VR? I run butter smooth in all other modules, but my CPU struggles at times with the Chinook.

I have noticed a bit of drop. But as with any high def ED module, I typically notice this and then several patches in, they fix it. It was pretty rough when the Hind came out and the Apache. Both run great now for me. I hope over the coming months we some some improvements. Still flys good though.
