This song has a lot of personal meaning, and I am glad she decided to make one about her sexuality. I am not bisexual like her, but I am a lesbian. This song captured a lot of my feelings and the things I have said living in the South as a gay Christian. I listened to this song when the LGBT community was suffering in Louisiana (idk if anyone knows how it is in this state for us.. a couple years ago the police were targeting homosexuals and arresting them under an unenforable law, the one that targeted people for being gay and that the Supreme Court declared unconstitutional over a decade prior to those events, and in the recent months Bobby Jindal was attacking us for a while).

I love this song! I myself am a Christian and love rock/metal etc and there are SO MANY Christians out there that will/have told me that what I listen to is "devil music" and God doesn't approve of how I dress and me liking Vampires etc and it's people like this that are hypocrites because nobody but God is perfect and nobody but God was given the right to judge.
