Here are our degree and certificate options.
• Digital Media, Associate in Arts Degree -The Associate in Arts degree in Digital Media is
designed to provide students with knowledge in content creation, editing, and delivery to
work in an evolving media landscape. Focus starts on building entry-level job skills in audio
and video capture, non-linear editing, and delivery. Coursework includes practical, hands-on
knowledge in media live and on-demand media environments. Students earning a degree in
Digital Media will explore concepts related to effective content production across various
platforms, including broadcast, online, and social media. Students will work in a manner
mirroring industry standards, with focus on immediate professional application.
Multimedia, Associate in Arts Degree * The Associate in Arts degree in Multimedia
prepares students for a career or further study in the field of digital media or multimedia.
Students receive hands-on instruction and training necessary for entry-level employment
while completing a general education path of study. Coursework involves work that will
allow for jobs in digital media, digital imaging, computer art, multimedia journalism, digital
photography, social media marketing, online journalism, audio engineering, web design, and
audio/video production. Students will work in a manner that involves industry standards,
leaving the program with a portfolio allowing them to pursue jobs immediately upon
completion or continue their education. *This is an interdisciplinary degree with coursework
in Photography, Graphic Arts, Mass Communication, Journalism, and Digital Media.
•The Certificate of Achievement in Digital Media with emphasis in Audio is designed to
provide students with knowledge in content creation, editing, and delivery to work in the

Certificate of Achievement in Multimedia * Upon successful completion of the Certificate of
Achievement in Multimedia, the student will demonstrate skills, knowledge, and training
necessary for entry-level employment in the specialty areas of the digital media industry:
digital imaging, computer art, multimedia journalist, digital photographer, marketing advisor,
newspaper videographer, page designer, audio engineer, web designer, and audio/video
post-production. Students will work in a manner that mirrors industry standards and will
build a professional portfolio that will help them pursue jobs in their field as well as higher
education. *This is an interdisciplinary certificate with coursework in Photography, Graphic
Arts, Mass Communication, Journalism, and Digital Media.
