First of all, sorry for the bad audio in few parts. I totally forgot to turn off in-game sounds. REAL TALK: 1) You can use Eye Of Gemini artifact instead of Mystic Seven as required. 2) You can also use Perfect Poise instead of Pheromone Bloom if you are using EOG. 3) Counter as much as possible to gain immunity. You can clip your lunge with one of the powers in your loadout. 4) Use chronometric emitters to stun adds and Personal dampening field to block incoming damage for short time. 5) Keep your stone skin up at all times while Aftershock tanking. Doing Jackhammer every 5-6 seconds for 2-3 taps would do the job. Happy Gaming. - iEddy

I just switched to earth today and have max augs for Restoration and dom I currently run Laz’ Manacles, mystic all at 200 can you explain what does resto does for earth tanks? And would it be good in elite content

It kinda depends on your playstyle. Personally, I prefer Aftershock Tanking.. but it might be different for you. Just try out both and see what suits you. =)

Aftershock tanking. If you are using Everyman Prototype, why not max out Health for the extra defense, instead? You have an unnecessary amount of Dom.

I'm an old school player but havent played in YEARS. to get back into the game I made a fresh character, I love earth, but my stats are low. What order should I be privatizing my limited stats? Hypothetically I have around 80, and want to be a secondary/ battle tank

Same as in the video, 10 pts in each Crit Heals to unlock the stats below. Then put everything you have in Dominance. Make sure to get movement stat, iconic sheild and weapon combo first. I would suggest you to focus on getting your skill points up. Atleast 400-450. And get your artifacts upto 200 rank, they will help you a lot since you have low skill points. For Battle tanking, you need as many skill points as possible.

Is it possible to use Martial Arts/Brawling for Earth tank? I know one hand is the best option but if possible I'd like to be more bare handed. Just an aesthetic thing.

I the past video of yours, i believe you suggested we not use items with red stats, so I am a bit confused. Can you please explain why the two red items on your load out are awesome and have red stats. I am guessing the ability they grant overcome the red setback....

I am not sure what you mean by red items in my loadout. When I said do not use items with red stats, that applies to gear. Any gear piece which has red stats means it has lower stats than what you are currently wearing. If a gear piece has green stats, it means it has better stats than the one u are wearing currently. Hope it clarifies.

Pretty much all of your videos I watch I only see you get two of the inates under movement mode. Do I get all five of those on my own judgement or just ignore the other three? Great video btw, I knew I was on the right track when making my tank.

Root Resistance and Encasement resistance? That's good for tanking. Last 3 are basically just to give you some power back whenever you break out. If you have extra skill points, you can definitely get those. Also, not all of my videos have same two innates haha xD Some goes down to Whirling Dervish (Melee loadouts), For some you only need one innate for Superspeed/Flight etc. (Mostly Range DPS Loadouts). Anyways, hope this helps =)

That's called countering. Anybody can counter but mainly tanks do it in raids and alerts. You can blockbreak the block, lunge the blockbreak to counter. That's how the bosses fall, gives you immunity for few seconds.

Ah the 10 year old argument 😁 the answer is, other than Fire, critical healing is useless for all other tank powers. You do have one or two self heals as earth but its not worth putting your SP in critical heal for that. So we are only putting 10-10 points in critical healing to match the bare minimum and to unlock the real stat innates below. If you want, you can definitely go for critial damage instead as Earth Tank. But with tank gear, tank artis, tank augs etc. I doubt that would be of any help either. Hope I cleared it up 😁

HL Sheild is one of the best sheild in game. Amazomium Deflection is right up there with it. I understand the frustration of using iconic powers but you gotta use whatever is available to get the most out of it and increase your performance. =)

@@Dreamy_nyx If it makes you feel better, not all powers need iconics. Atomic tank for example does fine with just class abilities, though I guess hard light shield is still good with them.
