Earth is the best tank and battle tank in my opinion all you have to do is fix its weakness with self heal and use Eog heals and spec some sp in restoration my extra healing also helps the healer out and the entire sqaud. And invest into Mercy artifact because that also heals and keep Brick alive. Every power has a weakness but you just got to take your time to figure out how to balance that power with arts and ally’s and how too spec.

I like your build there and I have seen some earth tank do wonders with battle tanking too. I will say that at times it does seem easier and with less of a barrier of entry for powers like fire and rage to battle tank as opposed to earth and even ice. Ice depending on content can battle tank very well or be one of the worst at it

Rage being the most popular doesn't make it the best. Even back in the day ice was more popular than fire for no reason other than skill issue. Fire never got enough credit because most players don't know how to use it effectively and apparently you're one of them judging by the load out you have on. Realistically, fire is the best tanking power if you know when to time your hard light shield. I'm a 2011 player that quit the game like 2 to 3 years ago (I've been fire tanking since day 1) and there's a trick about fire that makes the power the best tank and I can see that you're not using it, which makes this video pointless in itself. It's called absorb heat, you use it and block immediately. You have healing for days. I used to solo raid bosses with fire back in the day without a problem while rage tanks were struggling to keep up not just in damage tanked but also aggro. I can't say much about damage, but fire IS indeed the best tanking power in the game and this is not an opinion. If you learn the mechanics properly no one can rival you.

Sadly the devs are going to patch the heals you get when cancelling absorb heat but they going to increase the healing ticks by 20% if you use absorb heat without cancelling. Would fire still be the best tank after this change and why?

@@icrazygomo2619 They can't even fix their game and they want to patch a move that wasn't even a problem to begin with? That's like nerfing rage crash cancel effects, rage becomes useless basically. So you're telling me they will make fire's most powerful move ineficient for absolutely no reason whatsoever? No wonder why the game doesn't get enough players to queue raids anymore. I was honestly regretting not playing this game but now I'm EXTREMELY glad that I didn't come back.

Ice has good close range and great mid to long range while rage is pretty much best close range but lacks at long range

Ice tank second best one kidding me? This power is totally useless on end game content. Shields are for 1 hit because of shield penetration mechanics. You dont have much health here so you are just struggling and dying

Shield penetration mechanics is why it is ranked lower rage is 1 ice can be argued for 2 but generally fire is 2 and ice is 3

You also don’t have health but the defense turtle that ice is will allow you to quickly put another shield up when last one broke. And if everything goes well ice can cycle through it’s shield and never need healing just power making it strong in that regard

Well if your cr skip and trash arts with low sp than every power is not good for u and if have good sp and arts still u say ice trash than you should stop tanking and go troll n get carried in content

Atomic is one of the best tank powers, the buffs you get a crazy and it has self heals. People just don’t want to use it cause it has trash dps so where as all the other tank powers still do good dps. If you play atomic extremely well you should never die tbh unless the group wipes
