I'd recommend starting playing DCUO around November or December so that you could get used to the mechanics of the game so that by the time January or February comes around you can get the free combat rating to skip to be caught up with everyone else.

I've been a Premium Player since the PlayStation 3 days...I just buy what I need every once and awhile and buy a DLC only if I really want it. The hardest part is the $3,000 cash cap and limited chat! Currently I'm stuck at CR 324 (Haven't bought the 31st New Earth DLC so I can't buy the higher vendor gear because I'm waiting for the New DLC to coming in April)

I've done the same as you. I gotta say I love the lockdown setup. It's easier to get my friends and family that don't have the disposable income for the subscription to play the game with me and that has made the game way more fun.

I'm a free to play player (I don't pay the monthly subscription) and I don't use reply badges but I got my Character to CR 373 a couple days ago. I just make sure I do all the Daily & Weekly Missions.

The Deed or the Batman cowl will not increase your CR. And you cannot buy episodes anymore. All episodes are available to everyone for free.... and they would not increase your CR either.

You can buy orbital and those things but cant use it if you don't pay for the mainframe

Yes you need to pay the Mainframe to use it. And you need the Lair system or to be Legendary to pay for the mainframe.

iv question daybreak have lotro ...this game i can get anything on it with farming and time maybe long slong time 2 get with boring farming but u know u get u want in the end .....why dcuo havent that system 2 get any class or for ur base or for anything ......??? believe me that will be make the game huge and more successful

Hopefully they'll leave the game open as is, permanently... I'm pretty sure they still make good money off this game being open as it has been for all this time anyway. I'm a free to play player and have invested time and money on this game and so it would be a great disappointment if they closed it after the pandemic...

Well there are elite gear and normal gear and u need to finish the elite mission's for the elite gear and the normal u should be able to buy with with the dlc coins
