With pets/turrets and back ups/sidekicks we don’t need allies to stick around any longer than they do. Lags and overcrowding can become an issue.

The devs continue to try and "fix" power sets with allies and artifacts. Instead of doing the work to balance the power sets. And a shield that is 35% stronger would help a ton in certain content. Specific attacks that would normally kill a player would most likely result in keeping people alive with that shield. Plus it's a stronger shield for any tanks in the raid.

Yes.. in theory a stronger shield is a good thing. In practice.... Lots of mechanics ignore your shield.... especially in EEG. So when mechanincs ignore your shield.... doe not really matter if it is 35% stronger. :( So it is expensive to upgrade an Ally to rank 10 for shields that have a limited use. Will have to test it better once it goes Live..... we shall see.

If it increase or double power power regin percentage, it'll be worth it. Other than that, I just feel like it's just aesthetic that point. Some powers are hungry but still early maybe it'll see some changes be realase

I hope not it doesn’t help in combat or might increases because shazam, Batman who laughs and Zatanna is doing better. The controller role option is already making strong shields stronger. This ally should’ve also been just for light and other controller powers. Not something that’s universal for all powers of light’s category. Having 1 universal passive should’ve been it not 2.

It’s too weak. If they think combo powers are too strong then that’s a bad sign. No way they think poison ivy is healthy. John Stewart is useless except for controller role passive that isn’t even needed. All controller shields are strong. This is not okay. I’m tired of the generic stat buff bandaid fixes. We need powers fixed basekit. And combo powers did not get a great treatment.

Aesthetically the shield looks nice for the troll effect. I was going to go back to hard light since they announced John Stewart as an Aly but this is underwhelming. Even if they changed somethings it doesn’t seem valuable enough to buy, waste favor, resources and use a power token I’ve had for months. If natures buffs are so huge with ivy I don’t understand why they didn’t do the same thing for Stewart…… That would effectively make more try other combo powers. I think I’ve actually lost hope in this game like I was holding on by a thread but the decisions they make for everything they do is really crazy

??? It says +35% Shield Health.... +35% Health to the SHIELD. Shield Health is NOT the character's health. Read the description properly before just saying stuff. ;) ;)
