Even though this map design is pretty cool. I heard the alerts and raids is not so good. Anyway you know what we need? We need an Injustice episode or a Justice Lords universe. While I understand there was comics and games about it already. I just feel if DCUO brings that in and put in effort with it, players will love it.

I think once the novelty wears off, running all over Gotham to get your missions and bounties is going to get really annoying really quickly. It's like they're trying to artificially inflate the amount of playtime to hit some metric. And a lot of people have several alts. I have a number of characters I use to farm currency and drops because there are so many feats tied to the vendors. DCUO has been more about grinding the past few years, and I think that hurts the game.

One thing I really liked in Cursed Gotham is that Gentleman Ghost was actually haunting his arena before the update that made him an actual bounty. I was like "oh, this is probably where the new will spawn" and he appeared out of nowhere then vanished. It was such a nice detail, and it's sad that people don't value the small things. For me, the best open world is Gotham Under Siege. The fact that Freeze's minion and the GCPD can be seen fighting the invading amazons, and heroes and villains of Gotham are everywhere is really immersive. I also like small dungeons like those from Typhon's Invasion, especially because they're always random, so you never know which creatures you're fighting until you get there. It's also really nice when iconics come to help with bounties like in Doomed Washington DC and Cursed Gotham (also, the way Zee talks about Batman after the Gorgon is defeated got me very emotional, because it's Conroy 😢).

@@allanbarboza5090 Metropolis would've been better, but they don't use it since the War of the Light storyline. They don't even use the rain of Gotham in those, a terra formed Metropolis would be much more impactful.

They tried spaced out missions in Death metal dc and had to pull everything in to the main area. The players are too stupid to do things correctly so my guess is after they launch this disaster it'll be a couple weeks before they reposition everything back to the main area. There are things that shouldn't change like the areas where you get missions. That's should be easy......smh

Yeah, most players are pretty passive. I was playing Love and War the other day, Wonder Woman got in the block position and people kept attacking her and dying. I had to say "guys, it's WONDER WOMAN, don't attack her when she's blocking." People are so one track minded that they don't know what to do when their first approach fails, some of them just keep doing the exact same things expecting different results and blaming support, like one guy that tried to kick the tank from Granny's Home because he wasn't taking down Granny's drone. No problem-solving skills at all.

@@claudiabcarvalhosame thing keeps happening in FG (wonderverse raid) to this day. You get a big ass tell “DONT ATTACK GRAIL WHEN SHES BLOCKING” and guess what they do. Same thing with HOJ “BLOCK IF MARKED BY MARTIAN MANHUNER” - some players are just… yeah.

@@claudiabcarvalho The problem with this game is that there are so many stupid and probably illiterate players. Sometimes you need a feat or something specific in an alert or raid and just the presence of a player who refuses to read the information on the screen can ruin the experience and feat for the rest of the group, even more than 90% of the group do everything right. What bothers me most of the time is that most players speak English and in theory they should know how to do things because it's an English game. I don't speak English (I'm using a translator) and even so I try to know what to do and not ruin the group's attempts, while those who don't need to make an effort to understand what the game is telling them to say, go there and screw everything up and still blame the team

Honestly brainiac returns was a huge let down and this is just going the same way, need to focus on the alerts and raids to build a epic battle with tough mechanics and make it so the boss actually feels like a boss at the end. For some reason 1st and second boss feel tougher than the last lool

Hey Obsidian, will you be updating your powerset guides? I run serpent call, briar, vine lash, voracious plant, harvest, and NVB (don’t like using gorilla) and wanted to see if starfire would increase the damage significantly, but removing any of the powers that apply poison just ends up in a damage lost so don’t wanna level starfire any further if the increase in dmg is lost (I already run ivy)

Cuz its a recycled gotham map. Gotham is essentially New York at night and metropolis is new york during the day.
