안냥! 크집사 입니다. 이사한 집에 야옹이들은 천천히 적응하고 있어요! 다만 디디가 자꾸 여기는 우리집이 아니라며 집에 가고 싶다고 하고 있네요. 고양이한테 우리가 이사했다는 걸 설명하는 것이 이렇게 어려울 줄은 몰랐어요. 베란다에 디디가 좋아하는 작은 나무와 풀들을 하나씩 심으면서 천천히 천천히 다시 우리집이 되었으면 좋겠어요. 올 여름을 시원하게 만들어줄 치얼스, 츄얼스는 여기에서! marpple.shop/kr/chuchuinwonderland Hey, it’s Claire! My cats are slowly but surely settling into the new house! However, if there’s one thing that worries me, it’s that DD keeps thinking that we still live in our old place, and wants to go back home. It’s not easy trying to explain to a cat that they’ve moved into a new place. That’s why my plan is to help recreate the things that DD loved about our old place by planting some small trees and grass in the balcony. Maybe the familiar sights will help him slowly adjust to his new environment, and he’ll come to love this place just as much as he loved our last house! He really loves the challenge of opening things, so opening doors and gates was probably a good distraction in his daily routine.

에구... 디디가 전 집의 정원을 유독 좋아했기에 더 그리운가 보네요 ㅠㅠ 이럴 때는 고양이가 사람 말을 알아듣거나 사람이 고양이 말을 할 줄 안다면 얼마나 좋을까 싶어요ㅠ 다들 새 집에 적응해서 평온한 일상으로 돌아왔으면 좋겠어요.

it hurts my heart to see how Nana changed from a friendly cat to timid :( still remember the video when claire taught her to do hand shake and how warm she is to others. Maybe you can try get a professional help to gain back her trust.

You should try taking DD on walks since he loves the outside so much. He would probably enjoy it and it will help him adjust to the new home.

The balcony if any, should be cat-proof, specially higher floors. Some cat grass or cat mint will be great. Will there be birds at your floor? And get a fake fish tank as “cat tv”. Otherwise harness him and go for a walk.

Maybe set up some treats hidden in cabinets for him to open and find? He is a curious kitty and talented at opening doors so find a way to intrigue his particular intellect. I am so sorry your kitties are having such a hard time at the change, maybe since there are so many now they aren't feeling the attention they received after your last move? Are there any Cat Psychologist's available there, maybe they could offer suggestions on your cats anxiety issues? Good luck Claire and all your kitties.

Our Nana is still anxious😢😢 Now I know why Prince Coco doesnt like grooming himself (thus the tangled furs) and others, he hates the smell of saliva 😂😂 Such a picky Prince 😂

Moving is always so hard 😢. When we moved the only thing that helped my rescue cat was a calming collar (Pheromone). Maybe that will help poor Nana or your other kitties as they adjust. Maybe DD like to go on adventure outside sometime in your stroller ! I hope some day you'll be able to get a house of your own (perhaps in the country side ? ) so you can have the biggest garden ever for your kitties 😻 and you won't have to worry about moving again !

DD is definitely a middle aged man on the inside,,.. like missing the old place. If he could complaint he'd probably complain about how it's easier to find stuff in the old place or there's a corner that he could relax there

아고 둔둔ㅜ 이전에도 그래왔듯 시간이 지나면 잘 적응할 것 같지만 둔둔이가 진짜 이전 집에서의 기억이 되게 좋았나보네요🥲 지금도 둔둔이가 반응해줄지는 모르겠지만 조금 리얼한 버전으로 움직이는 벌레 장난감은 어떠려나요ㅋㅅㅋ

Poor little DD 😢. I think he misses his garden since he loves to go outside, and he may be a little depressed because he can’t go outside. Like some of the other commenters said, it may be a good idea to take him to a park on a leash so he can enjoy the outdoors. I wonder if NaNa swung at General because she thought that he was a threat to DoDo, and she’s a little stressed from the move. She’s usually the biggest love bug toward the other cats in the house, but she still has a motherly instinct toward DoDo.
