K.J.Yesudas inspired me in the 1980s to learn karnatic classical vocal. My first listened krithi of Yesudas was Thulasi dhala mula, Mayamalava gowlam. I am a fanatic fan of yesudas karnatic music. I am proud.

KJY certainly deserves Sangeetha kalanidhi long time back. His Music academy concerts were All time house full and they made huge money but honoured several junior musicians to him.Its totally unfair and he should refuse like Lalgudi jayaraman ji

It's not easy for a singer steeped in film and devotional music to adapt so readily and easily to the Karnaatic art form. In the vocal skills of Yesudhaas we see an artist who's transitioned quickly to the classical genre almost effortlessly.

I have never seen a singer like Yesudas blend perfect with the instruments beats. With qawwalis Hindustani music Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Music will unite South Asia. Now is all autotune not real instruments.

Pothigai have to upload ALL its Isi Arangam / Festival special music programmes, for the benefit of music lovers, instead of keeping all the good music in dark. Also, improve volume. HD video is not necessary.
