Petition to take Wirtual of the leaderboard. Used to love him, but not only did he talk trash about the creators and stop using the plugin (against the spirit of the competition), he also gave up and is going back on his promise to donate to the creators. He should not be listed if he has such a lack of respect for the event.

He said he would still donate to mappers and he's not fully giving up, will do it when practise maps are out for last maps, top 3 have finished and when he has time. Plugin was cuz of fps, I do think he went overboard with the "map is too hard" thing tho cuz many of his fans has been quite mean to mappers now, but i don't think it was his intent. He should have also said it was cuz he was not skilled enough. Very annoying seeing "people are not excited anymore" and "map too hard for anyone to finish" comments too.

@@juliel2488 I missed the part where he said he would still donate, so that's good. But his arrogance and inability to take responsibility is still an issue. Like you said, he couldn't admit his skill was an issue, instead he put the blame on the creators. Same thing with the frames of the plugin, everyone else has dealt with it, he just refuses to see himself as the issue. It's really disappointing as someone who used to be a fan, but I'm glad DD2 exposed him for who he really is.

@@DJ3thenew23 I mean the plug-in thing yeah, I thought that was fun with the voicelines, but he thought the dip voices on bottom floor was annoying, but he tried many times, might be a tech issue so idk and he tried so much to do it (and went to the server when he was not streaming cuz then it worked) so I think it’s understandable with that but yeah idk. The only thing I wished was that he didn’t put the blame on the mappers, I mean I do agree maybe it should have been less punishing or better recovery. Also hard for mappers to know if it’s too hard, like players have still not found consistent lines and strats mappers knew of. But it’s also apart of why the map is like it is and why it’s so challenging, and why it’ll probably only be like 10 finishers, which is similar to dd1, and he didn’t get to where bren and others were, not cuz of time used but cuz of skill and maybe having to interact with chat much, but he chose to do that, unlike in dd1 where he didn’t, he spent most of his time talking to negative troll comments which ruined the mood for many, probably himself too, probably realizing he was so behind bren etc. and trolls took advantage of that so he got frustrated so I’m glad he has quit to better his mental health, also he had no time cuz he has many plans now and he didn’t find it fun anymore (tho I think I’d be more fun if he stopped talking to troll comments and if he stopped comparing himself and instead of going for prize, just play some few hours a day but yeah) but I understand it being boring doing the small floors again and again, but wasn’t it like that in dd1? I feel if it was harder in the earlier floors, it would be even more boring falling on floor 4 all the time.

The actual wall ride is a bit further in the map. This is just a practice spot.

Because there is another dirt wall ride higher on floor 16 that is even harder and with no recovery. That practice wall ride was added when play testers found they couldn't get past the harder one.

I do not believe that the bounce is the intended way to get across there at all. There's no way the mapper wouldn't have noticed that you can just not do it. I'm more inclined to believe it's a practice spot for the much bigger, actually required wallride later in the map

Its not necessary and just for practice. There is a similar, longer wallride with bounce later in the track so players try to get a feeling for this here.

1 - There's the jump elConn failed at 4:55 2 - The actual dirt wallride where they've to bounce, come back and go over it, but much longer and narrower than the practice one 3 - Drive behind the wallride, drop to dirt + ice platform and jump to a scaffolding path 4 - Go back and up the scaffolding, one diagonal microjump, some narrow ledge driving, then drop to a circle under the end 5 - Jump into any 3 of the 4 simmetrical cones in the end 6 - Final jump

I’m new here. I saw a deep dip 1 video like 2 weeks ago, and then found out about deep dip 2. It seemed pretty cool, so I’ve been following along. In my opinion as a new viewer not as a wirtual fan. It is getting kind of boring. I think 3 weeks to a month to beat would have been cool, there was a lot of competition in the beginning, it seemed like a real competition with the pack always nipping at the leaders heals, now? It’s just the best 2 guys way ahead, and everyone else just out. I think for next year they need to make the tower taller, but slightly easier. Get more people climbing towards the top, and keeping the pressure and drama up.

I think it's fair to say it's too hard when the top 4 players are stuck in the same 3 jumps for about a week while playing for office hours every day. There is nothing wrong with a challenge being this hard, but I'm left wondering if it taking this long and progress becoming so stale was part of the creators' script. Can't wait to see someone beat this juggernaut.

Yup it's a real wall ride later on in the floor that is very hard so you need to practise before you get there.

@@buttecake first 3 attempts he got the gear before bugslide and that made him lose the grip. In 4th attempt i think he releases on purpose to dont get the gear, but getting it after the bugslide slowed him anyway xd. I'm just guessing btw
