i have a 10/10 melesplotion mod on me ember spectre but it only lists 200k as the damage instead of the 1M shown here. Any ideas? The weapon is chaos 9 and the mod is chaos 8

Great video! Two questions (1) How many missing Ability Resources do you need to fully benefit from the ManaBurn AP Chip? (2) Can apprentice gain any buff by himself so that Ability Buff Chip could be potentially useful? Thanks.

I do have this build setup, I use focus ap instead of canyon bells. Combined with the new meditation shard, you can get 3-4 stacks on focus ap for more damage. The issue with the build is the same as it has always been. 1: marking is ineffective, requiring specific builds. 2: The arcane volley travel speed is slow. The charged shot shard is a very good counter for the marking issue. The build is so much fun. I do wish chromatic address this issue with apprentice though 😔. I switched to an HD apprentice build a while ago. It packs a big punch even with imperfect gear. With focus power stack and drago, this build can nuke for around 400m, but sustain that for 3-5 seconds. It melts c9 no issues. I've held lanes without assist from defences on floor 320 and I'm confident it can go way way higher. Maybe I'll do a video of this build. Is it meta? Probably not. I've had to sacrifice pretty much all abilities to make the hd work, while there are other heroes that have HD with other tricks.

This HD is a general DPS setup, you can push a bit more out, but frost fire will be a casualty :D Then there is ofc the crit build with HD/AP setup. I've not tried that yet. I'll work on a proper video with the full breakdown. I have used this build for 60+ resets so far and have had no issues.

I think if you use marknado mod it solves the marking issue and is nice if using focus since you tornado do 3 casts then tornado again from cool down

@@Cod__Fish tornado helps with Mark retention, but still too slow to mark. Also doesn't help with headstrong mobs, buffed c9/c10 mobs.

@@judeselv it keeps up the mark and marks more than just shooting and you are still casting tornado in the first place for focused ap if using that I thought so it seems worth to me because you hit more enemies more often and with rotation for focus you have no time to shoot if you want max benefit from 3 cool downs instead of 2

mainly empowered volley shard, and exploding volley mod, you can use another 4/s staff with penta projectiles if you don't have ember scepter yet...
