Edit 1 - After further testing, it appears the map does not really matter. So do whatever map you want! Additionally, I was able to start the reset 13 rotation on reset 12 this last run. Edit 2 - The Information I had on the Wave 25 strategy is NOT valid. Keep using the wave 13 + Strategy all the way to Reset 32!

hey there, a friend and myself came back to dd2 recently after too many years ^^" , discovering new things and all, but we're only at ~250+ ascend but we know no one that runs c10 ez, we try to farm and all but how can we get to c9? c7 to 8 feels already like a wall and we rarely find better stuff, do we need to farm ascend to get more power or is there other ways? thank you by advance :)

C9 is the first real "grind point" in the game. Completing Chaos 8 gives you everything to fully maximize a defense or hero with 10/10 MODS. Not required to get everything all decked but you should expect to put a little grind time in on Chaos 8 before moving forward. Having just one defense maximized can be a real game changer.

Hi Juice, happy to see you're still uploading and safe ❤ Just a not so quick quick question, I know you mentioned this slightly (I think) but for ap resets can you not just run survival since you automatically have all checkpoints (from what I've found in a tiny amount of testing. This might be inaccurate) and can therefore just run a few waves in c9 difficulty for example and get enough gear to catapult you to the c9 cap so you can skip floors? If it doesn't work, make sense or is just inefficient that makes sense but for the mid and early resets (if it does work how I think it does) could it not be faster than running the floors by instead just skipping to a higher chaos gear score and running one exped... Apologies if this point was conveyed terribly, was mentioned in the video and I missed it or if the information mentioned is incorrect. I'm just trying to fling a suggestion out there which knowing you and your meticulous planning was probably thought of 😊

Survival gear gets scaled down to your current level. SO if you are in C1 gear and join a C9 Survival, you will get C1 drops!

So with the 10/10 trick you said about floor 25 with an alt, I did one floor on my main without alt n it gave 10/10 c6 gear after one floor right after completing am I missing something?😊

Hello a new player on DD2 here. I want to know what character is the easy one to start the game and what difficult i need to start at the beginning. I start DD1 a few days ago but i always play it alone. In DD2 im gonna see lobbys with people or is gonna be like DD1? PD:My english sucks, i know

The Character in DD2 is not important. Finding the shards you need is. So use who you like the best. There is a game browser where you can look through public matches.

question about the gear. Could you not just do an AP reset then give your alt a set of c9 gear (using player shop) and run 1 c9 map? seeing as your main will be carry, you should have a good stock pile of gear.

Traded gear gets scaled down to your current tier. So if you bought Chaos 10 gear but you are in Campaign gear, the gear becomes campaign gear.

i’ve been doing a similar thing but when it gets downgraded i use the next tier of item on it and the gear scales to that tiers actual score and not your characters so you can gain about 1000 char score just off that each time then it only takes 1-2 maps to get full 10/10 gear again

I'll say what I do know of, you can EASILY get 31 resets if you have a friend strong enough to do onslaught 49 to get you chaos 7 gear and enough power level to go to chaos 8, make your friend complete a chaos 8 map for you automatically giving you 99 onslaughts each reset can happen in 30-50 minutes doing it this way so only a few days tops to get 31 resets

As soon as someone resets a few times they should be able to jump right into onslaught 49 with you straight away. I've been doing my friends resets this way and it has been super super fast. Only for the first 31 resets.

Well yes and no. You don't unlock a floor 49 start in onslaught until your 30th reset. So no friend can get you in to a map you just can't join. But...You will be in full Chaos 7 gear before floor 28, so your numbers are a bit incorrect. I did do 50 resets in 5 live streams of about 5-6 hours each, using exactly the strats listed in this video. So you are right but very wrong at the same time :) Just follow what I showed in this video, getting the proper information is the reason I did this all step by step right on stream for everyone to see. So I am 146 ascension and am getting ready to reset (once I can). If I am 250 ascension, have completed onslaught 30, and have completed one c9 expedition is my ascension then shot up to 3200?

ya by completing 1 C9 expedition you have completed Onslaught Floor 299 without ever doing it.

One question: Got my main account fully upgraded and tbh losing 50+ upgraded relic/gear doesnt seems worth. Also my secondary doesnt even have a single relic or shard to carry my main thru resets. Is it worth to farm AP on my secondary? That way my main can easily carry. Would do basically for the gold/xp bonus

Im wondering the same. Probably not worth the time investment tho. By the time you did all your resets you could have farmed c10 instead and made many many millions of gold in that time. At some point in the future it’s probably worth it but you need to play a long time.

It would be worth it if you’re doing it specifically for gold but if you’re more worried about mats than gold then you would be better off leaving it the same ap

I would say for sure its worth, you get more gold in the long run and the 50 resets is done pretty fast! gold is really really really important in this game!

I believe for 33-49 it gies you floor 261 but you want to do floor 260 and do it twice if needed as the maps are easier

No. Outside of the 1st reset or other reset that require floors 99+, reset as soon as you can. going ionto C9 in early reset only realy gives diminishing returns.

My question is after I conpleted Chaos 9. Can't I just transfer all my chaos 9 Gear to my second account and then do the ancient power reset and then transfer it back and finish chaos 9 again?

Gear gets adjusted to your level in the store, so if you are C1 and try to buy a C10 relic in any store, it will be C1 for you. Also can't sell anything you have tinkered.

C8 should start at 41, C9 at 51 and C10 at 61 but it is based off of your champion score since they removed player gating. So a player in C1 gear at wave 200 will get C1 gear

Will they ever "conclude" DDA? Just one more expansion to use the spider in the opening, one map that sends us back to the "present"... im just so disappointed in how it's being left to the side :(

Could be, they have said a dozen times after their original statements about moving forward that DDA is not being abandoned. Many of the things that will end up driving more players to the game are about to go in to PTR testing. Things like split screen and cross saves were a hot topic since the very beginning. We are about to get them. So I don't know for certain what the future will hold. It will depend highly on if people are playing the game at the time I would guess.

Never increased it. at 50+ you do your 1 onslaught, then one C9 expedition to unlock floor 300 then go from 300-320

Because you gain no additional benefit in your next reset. C8 get's it done for you.

Well if you don't have one you should seriously consider getting one. It is a massive benefit and literally cuts your grind time for your entire time playing DD2 in half. If not you still should not be spending, as long as you have your shards gilded you can use drops off of the ground to get through resets, you are just not going to be able to take as many short cuts.

NO, minimum ascension is your minimum period. You can never go below that.

I did it with upgrading my dps relic to Chaos VII, left anything Else Camping. You can buy the required Material for defender medals when you do your dailys or just farm 1 week Expedition Chaos 3 and 6 before szarting

Unfortunately, this "resets" things (Ancient Power Resets), was the worst thing they did for DD2, could be more friendly and better. But nosense inifinite grind is massive boring, and it takes to many materials. i've spend thousands of hours is this game, and i rly enjoyed it. But it seems they never "finish" the game. Its time for DD3, DD2 is already dead.

It's not an easy to understand system. If you are lost AF then I would suggest not doing an AP reset yet. Wait until you understand the systems more or you could have regrets.

There is a trick to spend little when going from one expedition tier to another by using an alt. I'll explain using an example: You have chaos 8 expeditions unlocked. You play chaos 8 expeditions until you have full chaos 8 gear (usually 1-3 maps). Then you take 10/10 gear from your alt account. These will have their stats and gear score reduced but they need to be chaos 8 10/10 after trading. Then you can upgrade these to chaos 9 and the gear score reduction will be lifted completely. You can usually get by with upgrading "only" 3 Armor pieces. It is still quite expensive but cheaper than upgrading all the way
