What a beast build! I had some trouble on the left side (something kept destryoing my wisp stack), but I took 1 BP from reflect beam in main room and put it on the left to protect it..worked like a charm my man :D

Depending on your power level, reflect beams covering the wisps up top can be helpful. Ogres will throw at the wisps if they don't die fast enough!

@@MrJuicebags Power level is only part of it. RNG still happens. I have better stats than this run (by ~30%) and still lost 1/2 those wisps and the root. I was able to recover, but honestly a reflect wall here takes out the RNG. Ogres from copters somehow were able to throw a kobold right after the copter blew up before they even started falling/died.

Hey juice, love the videos, I'm having issues only on this map, I think my stats are pretty decent, all my stuff keeps getting wiped out when the boss spawns, any advice?

Yeah, it has been changed indeed. Not working anymore, core being smashed and boss taking almost no damage. Using 10k~11k main stats characters.

Entirely different game since this video. You can use the same build but add in explosive traps and then just go kill ogres and it is an easy win.

I just cant beat this level so far. An ogre keeps destroying my core before i even get to really damage the king. Dayum

It is widely considered the hardest map in the game. So don't sweat the learning curve. Besides people that got carried everyone had to go through the pain. Generally speaking you will want to prioritize ogres before anything else, including the boss on that map!

@@MrJuicebags doesnt seem possible for me right now. Lack of skill. Where would you recommend me to farm up to prepare for him a bit better? Should i just repeat his last 3 waves or should i go somewhere else?

The difficulty and loot tiers are based on the boss bonus difficulties. So to do Lycan King difficulty, which The Keep, is ideally you would want to be in Ancient Dragon difficulty quality gear. So go to your normal farm maps, but select ANcient Dragon difficulty.

@@MrJuicebags im always doing that. Also farmed for soldiers bracelet and brooch and the accessoirce you get for the summit for every char. Guess il start making more chars for more fused weapons. My gear hasnt got all 4 stats yet though. Still got some good power (i think)

somehow everytime i try this and im going after rift portal it randomly ends its a nd says your core has been killed by a rift kobold .. lol

Yea Rift Kobolds are nasty. If one get's buffed by a Djinn they run straight through all CC

No, but Fusion does double damage

I beat the boss in a dumb and very ineffective way (getting it trapped in the "main" crystal part by running around too fast) it took bout an hour and a half cause I wasn't doing much damage. (regular massacre) I was using dst's does physical not hurt it?

@@grandjoe5818 rifted enemies have a lot of hp but take double damage from fusion damage. Since its rifted mode the boss is rifted so that would be why it took so long.

Yea still works great. May need to tweak things a touch here and there depending on your stats. A 2 DU wall on the "short lane" can save the day.

@@MrJuicebags I will try the wall out in the lane. I have come so close to beating it with your build but I don't do as much damage as you with my rogue and my defenses get overwhelmed before I can kill him

Why did they not improve on the character models and character movement from dd2 and impliment it in dda? The dda character models are definitely not as cool and lacking majorly

Well that's ridiculous. The game went from a challenge to pretty much over powering the boss. Looks so wrong to kill the hardest boss in the game like that. Lame.

@@Zoddy5378 defenses weren't targeting him before though. fodder enemies were taking priority over bosses until it was patched

@@AnthemTD it still seems to be bugged, on xbox at least. Bonus wave demon lord took me a long time to kill since my towers wouldn't hit him.
