It’s good to see how this video described our culture and community although it’s 20 years back story but now the situations is quite different the people of pangi is being more educated with time there is continues growth. For the development of any place the two main aspects are Electricity and Roads but now days one more thing is added and that is Internet Accessibility. In 2 decades there’s nothing big change in roads, such as sach pass is still unmetalled and 1 way. In city when electricity goes off for 1 hour the people shouting like they are going to die in next moment but here electricity goes off for at least more than 15 days.

The way you have described about is very splendid,the today lives of pangi valley has developed most, the current education rate of valley is about 95% and most of the people depends on govt job and farming, the valley is now facilitated with hospitals college ITI and school as well.....overall scenario of valley is developed now whether its belong to road or telecom communications....I Proude to be as a pangwala💕.

Pangi Valley is still underdeveloped...due to dirty vote bank politics of state government.. Pangi valley don't have even its own constituency....Nothing significant has changed yet... life is too harsh here

Things are very different from what they were before 1984.In September 1976, we,a group of eight,from Delhi University had trekked this area,starting from Kishtwar in J&k to Trella via Sach Pass.It took us 8 days to trek for about 130 km.P.M.Indira Gandhi was scheduled to visit Kilar during our visit but had to cancel her visit due to bad weather.Trek was tough & very few people would dare to visit this area.A tall sikh SDM was stationed at Kilar & as Sach Pass was to close on October 2nd we all crossed it together.It took three days for travelling from Kilar to Trella via Sach pass & Satrundi.From Trella to Dalhousie via Tissa ,Bus took six hours.Atholi & Kilar were the only big villages. We would cook our own food as there were no eating joints on way.Nemories of those days is still fresh.

ज्यादातर पांगवाल लोग गढ़वाल से गये हैं ये बात तय है। ये हिमाचल के अन्य लोगों से अलग हैं इस विषय पे शोध किया जाय तो पाया जाएगा ये लोग ज्यादातर उत्तराखंड के टेहरी और उत्तरकाशी जिले के लोग ही पाए जाएंगे।

ये तुम्हारी कल्पना मात्र है पांगी के अधिकतर लोग चम्बा के और जम्मु के निचले पहाड़ी इलाकों से आकर‌ बसे है अगर‌ उत्तराखंड से कोई आया भी होगा तो इक्का दुक्का ही होगा अधिकतर पांगवालो के नैन नक्ष और रूप रंग डोगरा पहाड़ीयों जैसे है और उनकी भाषा भी चम्बा कुल्लू और जम्मु के पर्वतीय इलाकों की बाकी बोलीयों से मिलति जुलती है पहनावा हालाकी कुल्लू के लोगो जैसा अधिक है गढ़वालीयों में नेपालीयों का प्रभाव अधिक है बोल बाणी और‌ नैन नक्ष से भी इसीलिए भाषाविद हिमाचल की आर्य बोलियों को पश्चिमी पहाड़ी में गिनते है और नेपाली और उत्तराखंड की गढ़वाली और कुमाऊंनी को मध्य पहाड़ी में
