DDI-12 12 Gauge Shotgun Review

I love shotguns. I love magazine fed shotguns but will it work with the 20 round drum? The DDI-12 fills a void left by the departure Saiga 12. It's a target, period end...but considering the FBI stats show 52% of U.S. homicides committed by blacks, might as well prepare. Also, it's fine if it's a white target but not okay if it has darker pigment, right?

You can make a pro mag drum run with a little bit of work . First make sure the drum is a little lose in the receiver . File the locking tab on the drum just a little if necessary . Sprinkle in a little graphite to help the shells glide along . Use hot ammo when possible and when you are running low brass or bird shot set the gas port to the largest opening . My Saiga only had two settings on it so I went 50% larger on the gas port in the barrel and now it shoots everything that is short enough to fit the mags and drum .

I got a ddi 12 about a month ago and absolutely LOVE it! I would recommend it to anybody! but like they said friends don't let friends use pro mags. I picked some up and they were terrible. With factory mags or sgm tatical mags this gun is flawless! Will eat any kind of shell you put through it!

I love my DDI-12. I added a CNC Warrior Derita Demon muzzle break, Hogue AK-47 Monogrip #74000, installed a butt stock hinge from US Machinegun LLC #SF-ARAD2, and added a Magpul butt stock. Winner, winner, chicken dinner

My only issue with it is the lack of side rail for Optics. Plus you could get the Molot 12 for $700, it's a real Russian made Saiga 12 and they're still imported. Very nice shotgun though, I would recommend going with the 8th round magazines, they give you a decent amount the capacity without being ridiculously long.

Try running that drum resting the bottom of the drum on a table top. It looked like it was bouncing around while you were shooting. Nice shotgun!

I been on forums with ppl having bad look luck with these out of the box.. but on other end it seemed like they were vepr 12 fans.. my buddy has vepr 12 and that does not cycle everything either out of the box... want another ak style shotgun though...lol

I always love your videos. I have just purchased my first AK style shotgun...a Arsenal Saiga .410 and I am anxiously awaiting it's arrival. Now this! I may just have to pick one of these up. I have a new rating scale for you. 1 being the worst and five being the best...I say you would rate this five sweet cherry pies! Would like an 8 round mag though if possible. Would even make them if I have to....the Century Arms and this DDI seem to run very closely to each other...no drums for me..Lol!!...

These things suck............the bolt on mine broke within 25 rounds................sent it back.............took it to the range when it returned and the gun broke again...........back to a worry free life with my Vepr 12

You are correct. I have one and its a POS. Cant hardly move the safety selector without feeling like its gonna break. Cant get through a mag without it hanging up. Tried low and high brass with factory and sgm mags and changed gas settings. after less than 100 rounds the rear sight was about fall off of the cover. I just stuck it in the corner and gonna give DDI a call and probably have them piss me off even more. Also don't trust Classic Firearms reviews they only post positive one to make their products look good.

my rear sight became very loose as well, my front fiberoptic rod snapped in half, and one of the sphere shaped pins in the corners of the receiver that hold the dust cover in place from side to side play also sheered off mine.
