Can i just lubricate the channel faders without disassembling?? I don’t really see where it would be an issue.

If the faders are bad, they will require replacement, but if they are just getting stuck then you can use DeoxIT Fader Spray a.co/d/cuGgVzK

Im currently in the middle of this job and Im stuck on getting the fader off of the board. The metal that you bend down to hold the fader in place will not come up. I've gotten as much solder off as i can and it still wont come up. Im afraid to scratch the board by using anything except plastic to pry it up. Do you have any reccomendations?

So be very careful with it and make sure to use a lot of flux and wick to clean it well, then after using a sharp Craft Knife bend it while holding the iron against it. use this - a.co/d/53haX31

Looks like a drink may have been spilled into my SRT 1000, the shift button and a few buttons on the right side are stuck, there's no close pioneer repair place, do you think I could fix it myself I just wanted to clean it out with some deoxit,

I guess the real question is are the buttons hard to get to

@djilyaz If the liquid spill was recent you may be lucky and not have any corrosion so I suggest you clean it ASAP using alcohol. The right side can be a pain to get to but you can watch a few KZbin videos on how to do that. I do side repairs but I'm located in CT.

Start with inspecting the power adapter then proceed with check the power board module.

@@djab203 I have the same issue. changed the power adapter once started working fine and then it happen again it doesn't want to turn on again. last time I tried to turn it on the quantize was flashing red then it didn't turn on any more please help.

@gfabian8509 that's an indication of a bad power adapter. Get another from Amazon since they go bad allot. If you plug them into regular outlets without a surge protector they go bad. If the adapter is not your issue you need to open the controller and check for liquid damage.

@@gfabian8509what did you end up doing? I got the same problem and after speaking to a repair person on the phone they mentioned that it was probably the controller. I bought an adapter with identical specs to the original power cord and the controller still flashed.

@@starlite3597 Agreed 100% :) For some reason wd-40 is always around. Next maintenance I will use grease.
