Great video. I just did this repair. Take pics along the way so you know the different layers of screws (A, B, D, C etc.) Also the ribbon cable from the effects unit to the mixer, is an absolute nightmare to reinstall, even if you take out the board as @DJ Rock Cee to reinstall mentions. My suggestion would be to carefully remove the effects unit at the same time as the mixer so you don't have to disconnect the ribbon cable connecting them. That was the scariest part of the whole process for me. Desoldering, resoldering the fader was a breeze compared to reconnecting that particular cable. Good luck!

The volume fader from one of my DDJ-1000’s channels it’s getting “stiff”. Should I be worried about it? It bothers me a bit but I don’t think I can address this issue on the warranty because in the end... it works. It’s just harder to move it.
