ये यात्रा आषाढ़ मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया से शुरू होती है। पुरी मंदिर से शुरू होकर भगवान जगन्नाथ, बलभद्र जी और सुभद्रा जी के रथ गुंडिचा मंदिर पहुंचती है। यहां भगवान जगन्नाथ जी, बलभद्र जी और सुभद्रा जी आषाढ़ शुक्ल दशमी तक रुकते हैं। इसके बाद अपने मुख्य मंदिर लौट आते हैं।
