everything works but the weapon and armour shop won't open their shop menu, it just boots me back out of the menu.

What's the difference between the setup you mentioned and the public build? Just being able to play with randos?

the file "start_DDo_Local" is a text-file instead of a command program, how do I change that? I find this from the server a. If the file downloads as a .txt file(start_ddo_local.cmd.txt) you'll have to remove the .txt extension How do I do that ? Got it, had to change one of my selected setting in options-view tab

Why when I open the start_ddo_local it goes straight to the notepad instead of opening the game??

I'm not sure why it's doing that. I believe someone had a similar issue in the discord and it was resolved, so you should probably ask there.

No. Support from Capcom has ended.

At present, is DDON considered complete or is it still in development? Because the last time I played it seemed like it was setting the level. The character is set at 100, but from what I've seen, you're Level 1, so that means it can be leveled up, right?

Yes, you can level now, though it's still in development. Last I checked nothing of the story or the quest system has been able to be implemented yet. I recommend you check the discord if you get the chance. I've been a bit busy with other things, so I haven't had the time to do any checks other than a very cursory search which resulted in nothing.

There's a video on how to go online. All you need to do is download a .zip file and unzip it in the game files and use the launcher from said .zip. You can find the file and how to do it specifically in the Discord. It's just below the text tutorial for how to get the game running offline.

Hi, im stuck, when running the publish file, it says. failed to download the package. 'System.TimeoutException' was thrown, do you know how to fix this?

I've never heard of that one. I'd suggest joining and asking about it in the Discord's private server help channel.

If you're asking if people can join the solo server set up to play alone, then no. If you're asking about a local host kind of thing, I'm not sure. You'd need to ask the Discord for that kind of thing.

Antivirus will call it malware because it's not the official copy. What would be the point of going through all this revival effort just to infect PCs? Wouldn't get you far because a ton of gaming journalists would report on it, and Capcom would likely step in to get it taken off the internet.
