In my opinion, this is wayy easier than the original, the only gimmicks that are difficult to recognize are the ones in the middle. Anyways this chart is awesome!

Anyone else get a STRONG Trip Machine vibe?? The chart looks fun af!! That being said, kinda bummed on how straightforward this thing is. Was hoping for another Chaos fiend to add to the SMALL list of niche "10s". You know, boss songs that require a VERY particular skill set to overcome at 1x. Bag, Chaos, etc. Idk, Pluto maintained "Chaos" elements as a series. Was hoping this would continue the legacy the OG left. *Sigh* :/

@@AwesomeHairo Thank you for that observation!! I really want another "Healing Vision". "Supposedly", "Healing-D-Vision" isn't part of the series? I wouldn't mind if the new one was the first 20. Those songs have such a haunting yet mesmerizing atmosphere to them. This intensity, tension, subtle feeling of panic, and the release at the end, both musically and chart wise. REAL top tier pieces, beyond nostalgic bias.

So the challenge chart has way more stops than the lower level charts. Since when did DDR allow for different difficulties of the same song to utilize different gimmicks? Are there other songs that do this, and are there any songs that have different speed gimmicks based on song’s difficulty?

Ace for Aces was the first song to have different gimmicks per difficulty. It was essentially Konami’s way of showing how the game is gonna differ from now on

Well, the chart looks well done at the very least. The music though... best way to describe is to call it CHAOS Dub Edition or somethin'. Music loses a lot of the dark & mysterious vibes but compensates with its rhythm & those familiar segments.

I see your point, it loses some mysteriousness. However, I think the F minor key in this somg is more mysterious on its own than E minor in the original, but that's probably because F minor reminds me of night and E minor reminds me of afternoon. That paired with the wildlife sounds makes it still a little mysterious. The song itself is kind of a vast improvement just because it sounds "complete," but I'm not sure. Both versions are great.
