Disappointingly undercharted. Considering this was a HISTORICALLY difficult IIDX song, the chart feels admittedly, under....charted. There are so many ignored beats that feel natural to chart over, it's extremely underwhelming considering. Hell I beat this on singles and doubles on a sight read expecting the worst knowing of the IIDX chart. Bummer to say the least. I waited YEARS for its DDR arrival and was looking forward to getting my ass whipped, and training to overcome the next "boss song" Shonen style. :/ Considering the IIDX chart, and simply LISTENING to this beautiful song, there could've been a LOT more streams and intricate rhythmic sections here. Kinda like Xepher. I LOVE the charts, but it is admittedly very undercharted if you listen to it. Like the speed up section. To make that end with a lazy freeze arrow? Musically, it offers such a SICK atmospheric build-up to the bridge of the TRULY difficult half of the song. Then....a freeze to end that dramatic build up. Followed by a latter half devoid of steps where I legitimately spend tons of time just waiting for the next note burst. Blah blah blah, love the song, REALLY wish they did more with it. This could have truly been something special. Like the Xepher of boss songs.

I really hate charts like these where the entire chart is 2-3 levels less difficult than the rating except for one part of the song which is ridiculous especially when there is plenty going on in the song. This seems like it might be easier on left as they didn't really protect it with any sections where you would face forward.

This could had been the first official 19 if Konami was really merciless when the chart was made and did a nod of what's Mei on IIDX. At least we have Stepmania and we could do the hypothetical 19

Mei, Valkyrie Dimension , and Possession, Hypertwist, Paranoia Revolution and Bi are on list of 18 I need to pass once I get there I’ve been dipping my toes in the higher level stuff I have yet to pass a 18 but I have a few 17s under my belt and I’ve attempted a couple of 18s and 2 different 19s I was hoping to get my first 18 pass after a year of playing ddr we’ll see what happened there’s 2 more days in the year left and I got some free time tomorrow and anything is possible
