I sold my Maxpedition Sitka Gearslinger to my roommate for $75 and I'm gonna snag this. This is like a more refined version with the high viz internal contrast. So happy I found this video. Also I get all my shirts from a Veteran owned company or products from a company that also provides something. Like ZOX, provides water wells for communities without water, or Shady Ray's providing meals for those in need.

I was going to say the same thing lol, it's the Fieldline Tactical Range Bag. It is almost identical other than the waist stabilizer and it comes in a few different colors. I have the all black and girlfriend has the OD green/EMS red. They make awesome multifunction EDC/med kit load out bags (she's a nurse and I'm paramedic trained). And they are still like $25.99 , so it's still an event more entry level/super cost effective option that you aren't scared to be rough with. Man, I really appreciate you doing budget options! I keep an ar-9 pcc that shares mags with my Glock in a sling bag with a panel of 3A body armor for really crowded areas, and to keep behind the counter at work. I don’t typically have an excuse to off body carry. Even when I’m skating, I keep one in my back pocket (the only time I don’t have a round in the chamber). Other than that, never underestimate the fanny pack. Haha

So I ended up buying this bag over a year ago from the last seller I could find . Unfortunately they had some grammatical error and I had to wait for the next shipment. Sadly COVID hit and that’s bring us to today, over a year later and I just got it today. And I could not be more upset. Apparently they made some changes to this bag… they changed literally everything about the bag that made me want to buy it in the first place. First off the bag is much larger now, it’s almost a full size backpack. No longer a small sling bag. Two they got rid of the dump pouch/bottle holder, it’s just a bottle holder now which the dump pouch option was the main selling point for me. They have also removed all the elastic bands on the red pouches so now, when you put stuff in them it creates a huge bulge on the back of the backpack.. wow so upset after waiting sooooooo long :((((

Put some gloves in your first aid area. I don’t have a ton of experience but have been forced to do serious first aid a few times and have regretted not wearing gloves every time I’ve gotten blood on my hands. Great video. I’m looking for an EDC bag, but also one that will work for short jogs/hikes/scrambles. I do have a question though. I carry on body 99% of the time. But when I’m forced to carry off body, I feel like being right handed, the ability to sling under my left armpit would facilitate a faster draw. Versus the current strap set up would require slinging under right arm and also drawing right handed. Can I order the bag with a right shoulder carry option? Also next time consider showing the bag on you so I can better gauge its size. Thanks in advance
@TacticalConsiderations5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching Chris. I think this particular version only comes in a right sling style like this in the video. I believe for right handed shooters it is set up this way intentionally so you pull the bag with your left had as to not overly occupy the right hand prior to unzipping and draw. I probably should have shown it on in hind sight / thanks for watching.

But most street people knows their street and I don’t carry anything in a bag I’m not willing to lose if my hat blows off on a winding day if there is no fence around the property I’m buying a new hat. @@TacticalConsiderations Reminds me a LOT of the Maxpedition sitka gearslinger. In fact, I think they're identical, minus branding, and obviously a very big price difference. Grabbed myself something from Helikon Tex instead today. Thanks for the review.

All these guys must not live anywhere cold enough to have to layer clothing. I off body carry in the fall and winter with a 5.11 push pack. I'm fast enough deploying from that as I am an IWB in the summer. Remember, your solution may not be the next guy's solution. If you don't train for it, anything different will seem weird.
@TacticalConsiderations4 жыл бұрын
I'm in AZ definitely not bundling up in clothing here. But you are correct train how you carry
