De'Aaron Fox has become a bonfide two-way star. I already did a KZbin Short on him, but I wanted to expand and talk about the swing skill he has added to land him 5th among the league leader in scoring at 30 PPG. Because of the new weapon he's added, he's become a complete offensive guard to pair with his elite speed.

What makes me think that the shooting is here to stay is him pulling from the logo multiple times this year, which really shows his confidence. He never had this much confidence from 3

We’ve been seeing the beam a lot from Rancho! So happy to see the Kings strive and continually be successful in getting shots and make plays in hard situations. The defense has been a little bit of a challenge, but with time, comes perfection. And they have definitely been on it👌🏼

Thanks for talking about our superstar, Foxy! Egoless, humble, but he’s a killer! Bro is definitely a two-way player. He spent his time in the lab and it’s showing! #LightTheBeam #MVP

The off-season training with Curry paid off. Fox said that after his workouts with Curry, his forearms were cramping.

People forget that he’s still coming back from an ankle injury and hobbles a bit now and then. Until he’s back to 100% he’s not going to be moving as quickly as usual or driving in and dunking like he typically would. He’s been great from 3 so why not take them. If anything when his ankle is back to full health defenders aren’t going to know what to do with him.

It is absolutely crazy how DeAaron Fox does NOT get the recognition he deserves in the NBA and the pundits. Do they even watch basketball? Or, is this a bias against the Kings or simply Fox himself? The man is a MVP candidate and to not have him on the top 5 list is asinine imo.
@slyhooper7694
@slyhooper7694 8 ай бұрын
I agree he's an MVP candidate and still doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but respectfully, I don't think it's asinine to have him just outside the top 5. That's how insane Embiid, Jokic, Giannis, Luka, and SGA have been. Fox could be anywhere from 5 to 7. If you have him 5, thats cool, but every fan base of these MVP candidates probably thinks its crazy if someone doesn't have their guy as high as they think they should be lol. Saying its asinine or "not close" kind of undercuts how insanely talented and deep the top tier of the players in the league are this season imo

@slyhooper7694 True...but they don't even have him in the top 10. You make a good point about the top 5 tough, but if Fox gets them out of the 1st rd, leads the Kings to their best record, and goes off like 50 pts or more....we need to raise his recognition imo.

@@slyhooper7694Clutch points matter. Clutch points matter a lot but they don't seem to matter as much to people today. That's why I think Fox is top 5. Also, his defense is only getting better. Every other PG hides on defense.

I love his game but until he correct his FTs up to 85%, he cant be consider an elite PG in the league.
@edbrewington3
@edbrewington3 8 ай бұрын
Yeah....I agree. It's really disappointing that he is not a high percentage FT shooter. Also, he's getting 3 pt happy in games as oppose to taking it to the cup. He needs to work on his shot selection because NO ONE can stop him when he drives the lane. Plus, only good things happen when he drives into the paint. It opens up the floor for the whole team if he drives and kicks out.

@tokashi1 He does exaggerate his fouls like others and he doesn't get his body into the player and use it to his advantage.

@@slyhooper7694 Yeah...it's really disappointing, but I think he is working on being a two-way player who plays quality defense as well as being a scorer. I see him walking up to the FT line with some tired legs. Once he gets used to this, he'll improve. Mike Brown is asking more from him and this is a process he needs to adjust to.
