The Pistons Didn’t Know He Was Going to be This Good…
Not only were they the first prospects in history to make it to the NBA through a private prep program like OverTime Elite. Amen and Ausar were the first twins in NBA history to be selected in the Top 5 of the same draft. An unprecedented phenomenon that has only increased the hype of one of the most iconic draft classes in recent years.
A lot depends on the career of the Thompson twins. Their current performance in the league is the biggest showcase to observe if an outside agency is able to develop talent in a more effective way than traditional means. An industry that could explode over the next few years, and a potentially huge rival to the NCAA. And the truth is that although it is still extremely early to talk about expectations, it seems that Ausar's NBA career could be very… very promising.
In today's video we look at Ausar Thompson and how the Detroit Pistons did not know he was going to be this good?!...Keep watching to see NBA hooper highlights,nba crosscourt,golden hoops,nba top 10,nba today,nba mvp,house of highlights,first take nba,nba news,inside the nba, Ausar Thompson, Amen Thompson, Overtime Elite, Ausar Thompson Highlights, Ausar Thompson Interview, Ausar Thompson MVP, Detroit Pistons, Pistons, Thompson Brothers, Cade Cunningham, Houston Rockets, Ausar Thompson Defense, Ausar Thompson 2 Way Player, Ausar Defensive Player Of The Year, DPOY, Pistons Basketball

i don't know mannn, he reminds me a lot of Michael Kidd‑Gilchrist: an elite athlete and defender, but can't shoot at all. At least his shot isn't broken, so there is still hope. But to have Knox starting over you at times, is quite terrible.
@goddosupiidoyuu

I see the comparison, but I don’t recall MKG having the speed and agility that Ausar has. Ausar would thrive in a fast paced offense and MKG just never had that in his game. He was more like a half-court dud who couldn’t shoot
