Charles André Joseph Marie de Gaulle was a French general and statesman who led the Free French Forces during World War II. He later founded the French Fifth Republic, after the promulgation of a new Constitution, in 1958 and served as its first president from 1959 to 1969. In addition, he was a promoter of Franco-German reconciliation and one of the influential figures in the history of the process of building the European Union.

I remark that's it's typically anglo-saxon to disrespect the french tricolore flag, everyone knows it's blue-white-red, not the other way... on french TV you would never see that sort of "mistake" (more a fault in my mind)

Oh come on! It's an American film and they refer to the "red white and blue" when talking about their flag; it's habit, not some insult; would you actually like to make some comment on the film and its content that would be of interest?

@@petermckerrow7694 Totally wrong guy... I served in french forces based in Germany, and worked with NATO forces, mostly the 1st US armoured cavalry brigade (Ramstein), most when referreing to french flag were saying blue-white-red or simply tricolore. When a so called journalist make a TV report or intent to do some, he should prepare it and do its job, if so, he wouldn't have done this mistake.
