Like the Chipmunk the colour scheme and what angle it's seen from makes no difference they are always beautiful. Until you hang a flat four on a Chipmunk or a PT6 on a Beaver 😊

This approach & landing has been done like if the pilot was flying a Cessna. The STOL capabilities of the Beaver make it easier to performed a steeper approach with full flaps and power at idle. No need to flare with the elevator. The use of the trim is sufficient and this way you won't need to add power over the runway searching for ground contact.

It looks like the engine air intake is on the bottom of the cowling instead of the typical beaver 2 o'clock position, who does that modification. Also one of the best looking Beavers Ive ever seen, and I spent 20 years as an A&P

I think I read somewhere, it was time ago and I can't remember where sorry, that the upper intake is the mod brought about to lessen water and gravel ingestion during float and bush ops. The 6 o'clock low one is the original standard equipment. Looking back at a few early photos of land beavers while I'm writing this shows a lot of them with the low intake. If I'm mistaken in this, hands up, an I'll apologise in advance. As to presentation of this aircraft I'll heartily agree, she is stunning. I'd take one of her over a fleet of Cirrus. Take care, Tom.

It's a dreamming to have enough money to get an airplane like that. eventhough is an "old one", it has good internal space, versatible, option to increase the power and can be a nice way to make local flight. Fabulous, very beatiful.
