I remember being in High School playing Folsom for the section championship at Sac state (2012 i think) and we (Vacaville Bulldogs) went down to the wire BARELY winning 37-36 i think .. Anyway now a DECADE LATER Folsom playing De La Salle?!? 💪🏼 No bullshit Folsom a powerhouse.

Took Folsom 12 years but they have finally surpassed the master. Folsom is in a good position to corner the best talent in Sac and Reno and dominate Norcal. DLS will continue to be a force in Norcal due to reputation alone, which will bring in some talent. In the end, however, all the lambs are being led to the slaughter.

@@andyodvor2927 I think the programs are about even. Serra has also caught up so we have a nice group of 3 good teams. St Francis and Pitt will dip in and out of the fray, but expect the Big 3 to stay that way for a while.

Yes Folsom and serra has proven they can do this every year with getting top tier talent I think de la salle won't make true full whole changes Marc Unless a ncs team best them. There where the streaks they had originated from and alot of the wins Even tho they best every team anywhere But competition good for top of nor cal

When i played at folsom 4 year starter we won like 18 games in thise 4 seasons all a sudden dano graves came along and they been a top national team ever since not to mention there coach went to sac state gave them there best recors ever now hes the coach at Stanford

Hahaha Dano graves that while back huh? I may be off some years but after graves they had that Receiver & QB brothers combo with Trosin i think?? I played for Vaca High Bulldogs and my sophomore or maybe junior year Yall SMOKED us in section semi finals like 60-14 but the following year we played Folsom again in the Section Championship at Sac State and we BARELY won like 37-36 in a crazy close game. Good Damn memories but im pretty sure after that Vaca High Football had never been near as good while Folsom is a fuckin powerhouse now

It's hard to follow a coaching legend in sports. I think another thing is the school itself tamped down on the football emphasis after Lad (and then Eidsen) retired. Coach A is young and the school has more say in what he does. I'm not saying Coach Lad was out to keep a football factory maintained, but he definitely had more power to do so, and get the recruits necessary to do it. If DLS had been a "football school" it would still be where it was in the early 2000s.
