It's 20 years later, I've watched this film a hundred times (I'm not even exagerating) and this scene still makes me so emotional. I'm crying. The emotion between Linda and Cole, this deep bound reflected by simple but darling words. The smooth editing with the piano notes just rolling seamlessly, Kline's whispering singing voice against Lara Fabian's powerful voice (the first cd I ever bought was one of hers which just adds to my emotional nostalgia), Linda's choked happiness and Cole's heartwrenching sadness alone at the theater... I don't think I will ever stop crying at this film. ❤

Is there an official cover of "So in Love" by Kevin Cline? It's the most beautiful version I've ever heard! Much better than all the theatrical ones. So simple, emotional, and genuine... Just his voice and the piano...

Unfortunately not. Most of the scenes of Cole/Kevin at the piano he is playing and singing live. I wish there was.

When that movie came out and I heard that song I told my husband "this is my song to you". I always thought I would go first ("I'm yours till I die"). He passed away on New Year's Day this year 😢.
